I know you can port xbox/ps3 onto next gen

the port can only be done once. but yeah if you dont port to a next gen system and save it for the pc version you should be fine.

you have to sign in on your ps3 and download the 1.18 patch. then try switching it over

Some people reporting that if you can fire up your ps3 copy online. It should transfer.

turns out i am an idiot that just cant follow instructions. i made a new psn id and was trying to transfer over to that. didnt work obviously. had to transfer over my old psn id that i was using on ps3 to the ps4 and my character transfer worked right away.

Rockstar patched up the issues. Will try later.

so lame, theres no one online... guess im just going to have to work on story mode again till people start switching over.

i only play after i get off work, so pretty much any time after 11pm.

first person mode seems kinda disappointing, maybe its cus im used to playing the series in 3rd person mode

Try driving in first person it's sick

The speedometer goes according to speed and some cars have a light icon and displays what song / station you're listening to

Also try punching people in first person and doing combat roll, or get hit by a car.

The detail on new gen is amazing

Yes the details r amazing, I was having fun hatching ppl, but driving wise it seems like the field of view is too narrow. I'd much prefer the wider fov of 3rd view when driving

I walk/kill/rape in first person
Drive in 3rd person
Try flying in first person. Its hilarious

Running around after random people in the game with a hatchet in first person is fucking win. Have so much fun now lol

finished all the main story line missions. didnt buy any of the characters properties or cars and left the stock market missions till after the big heist. all 3 guys are sitting on 1.2billion now. :fuckyea:

yeah of course i had it for the ps3. i'm a true GTA junkie. i've owned and religiously played every version of GTA since GTA 3.


but you are right, they will eventually stop releasing DLC's for previous gen consoles.

I got sick from playing first person GTA 5. What an awesome feeling, like I'm a kid experiencing motion sickness for the first time again.
