What ?GTA V? for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One Means for Take-Two Interactive (TTWO)

GTA 3 - 16 million copies PS2 compared to 30,000 copies PC.
GTA 3 San Andreas - 23 million copies PS2 & Xbox to 900,000 copies PC
GTA 4 - 22 million copies PS3 & Xbox 360 to 820,000 copies PC

All I'm saying is for the GTA series PC Games sales are a drop in the bucket compared to console. I prefer PC games myself but I'm a realist and understand money talks and these games will only ever be an afterthought when it comes to PC releases which is why they are always late to the party. Rockstar will never make PC the priority for the GTA series because the market doesn't justify it.

BoostedBB6 11-06-2014 06:59 AM

I may get those for XBO but the last one I had I didnt enjoy to much however there was no online play. I think it could be a lot more fun with the ability to play with friends and stuff.

Tim Budong 11-06-2014 01:29 PM

so ONLINE HEIST? this shit exists or doesn't exist?

They would've released details about that if it existed.

Gucci Mane 11-06-2014 10:06 PM

wow my mind is fucking blown. i originally thought that 1st person view would be available for single player only but it turns out i'm wrong. rockstar confirmed that it'll also work for online in free roam or in missions.

life = over.

its funny you mention that. I remember when the PS2 first came out with the modchip I bought it straight from superstore at metro, to that mod chip place at metropolis lol. the modchip at the time harsh sucked and my games kept freezing but it was worth it :fullofwin:

They had one or two in stock at the target in landsdowne if you can't find a good deal for it elsewhere. I was tempted but decided not to since I usually play for a while then the console sits.

Will buy when a PS4 slim comes out or when the prices drop.

From all the compare and contrast information for xbox1 vs ps4, I don't think changing hard drives on a PS4 will void warranty. Sony even has steps on how to do it.

https://support.us.playstation.com/a...tail/a_id/5107

Xbox warranty will be void for sure since you have to break a warranty seal to open the xbox.

We know you’re all excited for more Updates to come and we’ve got some really exciting stuff in the works to continue adding to, expanding and evolving the world of Grand Theft Auto Online – including the highly anticipated launch of Online Heists which will be available for all four consoles as the first GTA Online Update to happen after the game launches on PS4 and Xbox One. We’ll have some details on that very soon as well.
GTA Online Census: The Story So Far | Rockstar Games

best believe that heists will come in the first patch for the new consoles.

Ch28 11-13-2014 01:02 PM

It only took them a year to get it rolled out :lol

Tim Budong 11-14-2014 12:27 AM

I thought about this for a bit

I will believe it when I see it in person

thats pretty much it

G-spec 11-14-2014 05:17 AM

As long as "Rock and Goat simulators" can make millions from the idiots paying for them, :stupid:
well then Steam has a long future, but I'm surprised by those PC sales numbers, I would have thought they would be much higher than that

I stopped playing non sports games years ago, but one of my last attempts was GTA 4 on the PC, it ran so bad even on my good hardware. I will try to get back into the GTA series with 5 on PC, I just really really hope that it's optimized well and performs normally.

60fps and 4k for PC. yeah, you'll be just fine..

StylinRed 11-14-2014 01:25 PM

The specs are nice for PC but delayed to January?! I wouldn't be surprised if its delayed again when the time gets closer -_-

And the disc encryption they're using supposedly causes performance issues

Tim Budong 11-16-2014 04:25 AM
