Kaishaku is the act of decapitating the person who is committing seppuku (seppukunin). The Kaishakunin is the person who is the second in command or a best friend, so to speak, who does the honour. The Kaishakunin also does other stuff, like prepare the knife and in the end, prepare the head for inspection.

Chosen to be the Kaishakunin is a great honour.

I would gladly be your Kaishakunin, so I can properly prepare and display your head to StaxBundlez. BTW, I do have a sword set. A little dull atm, but can be prepped. Let me know......

Well, if you are contributing to the FUSWMYL thread, then you really need to understand that the thread moves FAST. Not just at a rapid pace, but blazing fast.

Let me illustrate this for you a little more. I sit in front of my computer all day with RS on 1 screen and Reddit on another. Even many of my x-posts and reposts are beat by other members of RS.
The internet works like this. 4chan -> Reddit -> RS -> Facebook
Here's a helpful hint:
If you found it anywhere on the internet (ie. if you friends sent to you via email, msn or facebook.) It probably originated on 4chan, was reposted to reddit and somebody already reposted it to RS. Do yourself a favor, skim through the current page, and 1 page back.

An repost that was made year's past probably won't net you a lot of fails, in fact, maybe some thanks because newer internet users haven't used it. However, a recent post, something on the same page or 1 page back? You should expect the fails and I think you fully deserve it. You're trying to contribute to a thread or community you know nothing about. It's like trying to speak up at a staff meeting where the guy before you said the exact same thing. You're going to look like an ass who wasn't paying attention. You will deserve the daggers from the eyes of your coworkers much like you fully deserve the fails in the FUSWMYL thread.
