With that said, I think that mods on this forum are pretty fair and consistent with what they do and how they do it.

Do his good IT related deeds outweigh his lousy personality? I certainly don't know and it's a matter of opinion. There's always someone who can pull off the same job but a respectful person is harder to find especially when he/she is in a position of power. I also dislike him. If I had to wish for one RS user to go away, it would be him.

So, what are his IT improvements that he has implemented? I been a member for awhile and prior to that, I lurked longer. His unpleasantness feels pretty consistent over the years.

i was banned a year or so ago for calling out skinnypup on his anti-mainland rants. my post was along the lines of "skinnypupp can never acknowledge anything positive about mainlanders" and the ban reason was "trolling". very unreasonable, especially since i was speaking the truth, but it was no big deal since i just renewed my ip and continued lurking. i never posted again though, as i didnt want to contribute to a community where a mod's open racism and bullying was tolerated.

of course im just one random guy, but i cant the only one who was wrongfully banned by him and im damn sure there are many members/lurkers who's put off by the attitude and hostility on this forum.

my point is, regardless of his backend contributions, having him change his attitude or siwtching to a less public role will go a long way toward improving RS.
