what really boggles my mind is that when some topic does not sway your way skinnypup, you delete posts pertaining to it and usually in addition to the THANKS that were given out. one justification i remember you made was that the thanks were for thanking a troll post.

Honestly, without SkinnyPup, Revscene wouldn't be what it is. He obviously cares about this site because of the amount of time he's invested in it. I also like that he brings in opinions that the majority of people do not really think of...

But at the same time, I feel as though, at times, he chooses to disagree with the majority because he just hates to conform even if the majority is correct.

I wouldn't want to see him inactive, though.

I appreciate SkinnyPup for maintaining the site and making improvements so that it provides a better end-user experience for the rest of us - this I have no questions about and I see the value of having someone like him around. He obviously cares about keeping his duty and fulfilling the responsibilities on the technical side of things, and he does them well. However, I don't like him as a person, don't like his arrogance and I-know-better-than-you attitude, don't like how he can't admit it when he's wrong, and don't like how he puts himself on a pedestal all the time.

But, just like in real life with people I don't like, I choose to ignore him and don't participate in his conversations and pointless arguments, because at the end of the day, he's not in my life (in person), he doesn't affect my mood and he can be shut off as easily as walking away from his posts and threads.

My conclusion on this this - he's an ass and he will always be one, but who cares, he's not worth my time and energy to respond to anyway. At the end of the day he's just another guy on the internet that hides behind 1s and 0s. He's just a name, an avatar, and an interactive bot machine that responds with random rhetoric.

In the mean time... the more we react to his antics, the more he feels empowered. So gents, just ignore him - he's not worth the time and energy. There are better things in life to get worked up about and this ain't one of them.

The ironic thing about this is the fact that we've created a thread about him... bet he's laughing in front of his computer right now. lol :troll:

SkinnyPup's one of those guys who makes a big contribution to the site, but has a bad rep for.. well.. the things we know he's done. And with a rep like that, even if he's working hard to make well for RS, the negativity is still there.

Anyway, I'm sure he's probably planning out what to reply OP with right now.
