been going there for a little over a year and I almost never go during peak hours because its a gong show. There's always a couple 'groups' working out together hogging a few machines or racks .. but theres 4 racks and 3-4 bench presses so it's not that bad.

After 11pm or before ~2pm is usually best. Or do wed/thur/fri/sat/sun and mon/tue off.

i workout at richmond sports club. two flat benches, two squat racks

pros:
- very cheap
- indoor bball court, heavy bags, plyometrics area
even when its busy, it will be easy to get your sets in cause most people i see that workout there use shit like dumbbells, smith incline
- lotsa 45s

cons
no olympic platform? most gyms dont even have this so i aint mad

all in all i recommend it very heartily.

I'm guessing this has been talked about at some point in this thread but I'm just looking for a quick review but I'm just wondering if anyone's purchased a Nike fuel band? And what your thoughts about it are? Worth the $150?

I personally never found it that bad.

It's pretty damn empty anytime before 3. I also go around 7, and although it's somewhat packed, I never had to wait for anything.

3 flat bench
2 incline bench
1 decline bench (the one specifically made for pressing)
1 shoulder press bench (the one specifically made for pressing)

3 power racks

Looks like I'm going there late night today to avoid the crowd. Good thing SFU starts school next week

Fuck I haven't posted here in a while. I gotta take some new progress pics, definitely made some very good gains, extremely lean right now, but I don't want to be LOL.

I went from 180 lbs, just weighed myself today I'm 168, this is easily the lightest I've been in a few years. I've been training this whole time, but my appetite has been fucked this last month with women drama.

Hope you guys all had a great New Years.

I actually did 4 plates before (5 years ago). I want to be able to do it again before the end of the year.

I'm at 345 now, or 315x4..

Only took creatine and protein. I played football for 8 years (high school, university) and bench press was the only lift that was tested so I worked on it a lot. I'm 6'2", 275 lbs.

Nice! What position? I played for the St. Michael's Kerry Blues, UCC Blues, Toronto Thunder and University of Toronto Varsity Blues. What about you? I was an offensive guard and nose tackle.

Urge to go back on 5x5 again rising. Nothing like lifting heavy and fighting to beat your last pr.

Hey for those who's currently or went on Wendler's 5/3/1, did you ever go heavy on assistance exercises? My dumbbell flat bench is literally skyrocketing, and I'm afraid I won't be able to handle the weight I'm doing now in the long run. My ego is strong
