The signal is not bad at the places I've been at. At some indoor places, I would lose LTE and it goes to 3G but still usable. Most indoor places have Shaw Passpoint anyways which is included with the plan. I did a bunch of speed test the first few days of signing up and I think it's a decent speed. All test was done on an iPhone X with band 66.

I remember when wind use to have CDMA devices, is this still the case with freedom? Lol. Or can you use freedom devices with other carriers?

Freedom is setting up more towers so it will be better . But as far as right now goes as soon as you reach abby there is no connection at all.

I'm in Abby quite often. I don't recall ever having issues there. I go to Mission Raceway Park a few times a year - no issues there, either. When I'm in the US, I get LTE from Ferndale on. Blaine is a little iffy. I have the plan that includes US call, text, and data. I've been pretty pleased with the service. It wasn't always the case. BTW, I have an unlocked iPhone 6S that I purchased from the Apple store. If the service sucked, I'd switch in an instant to another carrier.

There are times when I cross back into Canada where the phone just doesn't recognize the home network for a long ass time. Sometimes never, as in I have to restart the phone. Going to airplane mode for a few seconds then turning it off fixes it most of the time. I think it's fine at Peace Arch, but I usually cross at the Lynden/264th border crossing. Aldergrove is a bitch for reception. Aldergrove is a........... nvm, someone from RS might live there, so Nuff Said.

Anyway, that's my experience with Freedom/Wind Mobile. It's not perfect, but I've been with them for a long time............. through thick and thin.

I feel like a pioneer who is paving the way for future generations. Help fund all the new towers that are going up.......... okay, time to go get some sleep, gulolol.

Nope. When a carrier advertises $40.00/month, it doesn’t include taxes. My pre-tax amount is that price because I have family members on the plan. Can’t remember what it’s called. Better together? Without, it is 50/month. My fault for not clarifying.
