This is false. The "Code" they send you is back to your account page and from there Nothing. My posts on facebook and DMs on twitter are being deleted and ignored, along with a bunch of other unhappy wind users. I did all this 3 minutes after they posted this promo. Within 10 minutes my first post was deleted along with a bunch of other wind user rants. I like their coverage and LOVE how much stuff is included in one bill, but pulling a fast one just to get likes online?

We'll see in 23h
Did you read the Terms and Condition?
It says you need to like both WindMobile Facebook Fan page and have PAP (Pre-Authorized Payment)...

It actually says you have to signup for pre-authorized payment, so I'm guessing if you already have PAP, you're SOL.

^^ Yeah It kinda sucks because something I already did and their giving the new guys better treatment for being new. Sounds like something Robelus would do, and exactly the type of customer service I wanted to get away from.

Anyone who signed up earlier has a leg up on newer customers. I got the plan right before o-canada, which is $30 for a year, and $45 after that for unlimited north America calling/pic messaging, worldwide texting, data and callID. I saved more than $30 in my first month after switching from Robbers. Not having a $30 credit for doing nothing isn't going to kill me.

I really want to switch to Wind from Rogers - my data use is shooting thru the roof (only have 100mb right now) and I'm already paying $32 after tax/month.

The only thing that's stopping me right now is the damn coverage.
Of all the places that the "home zone" stops... it stops at the doorstep of my office... WTF!!!

well, why don't you just do a trial like i've encouraged anybody else in this thread to do when they've been uncertain of wind's network? it may say that it's just outside on the map, but who knows? you really have nothing to lose except a few dollars depending on how long you keep the trial for

I'm sure you can find a cheap shifty dumbphone on climate for like $20 or so. Or just go get a gnex and you're covered regardless.

Anyone with a blackberry having problems with BIS lately? Mines weird as fuck. Cuts in and out randomly and sometimes it doesn't come back for about an hour or so. The weird part is it only happens in the area I work in. When I'm home it never cuts off.. I've never had this problem before either. Just started recently. Tried re-starts, battery pulls etc and still won't work. Contacted wind and they said all is good.

I've talked to wind about it and they're saying that everything is good on their end. I've tried resests etc on my handset and its still doing the same. I'm gonna try a software update tonight and see if that works, if not, fuck the berry. Going galaxy nexus.

what i meant was, maybe it was the blackberry service itself having problems. i remember back in january-ish their whole blackberry network was down for like 2 days or something

I'm on Moblicity right now and lose signal anytime I walk into any building like a high rise or douglas college for example, at least 5 times a day i have to spend time going into settings waiting trying to get the signal back..

How much better and stronger is Wind's signal compared to Mobilicity, I want to gauge if it's worth the hassle of switching carriers again, thanks guys
