If you're going to community centres, go to Mt. Pleasant or Trout Lake.
Mt. Pleasant is by far the best community centre I've been to. 3 power racks including one olympic platform. Two benches, 1 incline...and a shitload of adjustable benches.
Dumbbells only go up to 80's like all CCs

Yeah haha Mt. Pleasant's huge, and Trout Lake has brand-spankin' new equipment
but Killarney's only like a 15-min walk from my house so it's real convenient

+1 for Mt. Pleasant and Hillcrest

But Hillcrest is always packed as shit, no matter what time you go

I was able to talk them into $19/mn with no fee... sorta. I had to pay $40/mn for my first year, then $19/mn onwards.

not as big as other community centres, but definitely much better equipment than Renfrew & Kensington. Barely ever crowded
By far one of the worst cc gyms.

Yeah, Abbotsford Rec Center. Got overhauled a few years ago, now it has a decent weight room and a nice indoor track. U Pass also gets me into MRC, the other city run gym in Abbotsford.

Without U Pass its something like 30/month.

MaximumCore Studio

Cost: $39.19 (Free fitness classes, private gym, cafe, towel service)

Pros:
Good people
Never busy
Good food in their Cafe
Private gym (Play your own music, etc)
Multiple floors with different equipment

Cons:
No squat rack platform (Good for Deadlifts, cleans, etc)
110lbs max for dumbbells
A little tight, small gym but minimal traffic makes up for it

P90X at home and at the work gym. Very little set up needed, no waiting or travelling & cheap! . Win-win.
