You mean tearstains... lots of dogs get discharge from the eyes. It really shows on white dogs; on some it forms "crusties".

We've been using buttermilk powder for ours, and it really helps. Similar idea to "Angel Eyes" and similar products, but a lot cheaper (it's something like $1.89/100g in the bulk section at Save-On). Just sprinkle a little on their food - it really helped reduce Taffy's stains, and where the others still get a little discharge, it keeps it from getting hard and crusty.

Note: BUTTERMILK POWDER... NOT buttermilk PANCAKE MIX.

We had to say goodbye to an old friend a few months ago.
Three weeks ago a black lab pup arrived.
She's right on track.

R.I.P Angel, :( health has been slowly going down the hill over the past year despite mega money spent on vet bills / meds / food, tried everything we could.

Shes been blind / deaf / losing weight, no appetite + more, Last weekend she could bairly walk , couldn't control her bladder for past month so my parents bought special covers for every couch in the house and place she sleeps (The dog lives w/ parents) , no more pain now shes in doggie heaven had to put her down.

Here is the Last picture ever taken of her, Although its been more than 12 years i still remember the first day we picked her up in chilliwack when i was young... Rest in peace
