It seems very odd to me that majority of gas prices can go up 5c/L in a single day as soon as any bad news comes out of the middle east. When we hear good news, they say it takes weeks for any savings to be seen at the pump. Then, we see the NIGHTLY 3-5c/L drop in price which goes back up to regular day time prices by midnight. This does not happen outside of the lower mainland as far as I've heard. Prices in Alberta, Ontario, stay fairly consistent overall. | In the past year and a half gas has gone up 6 cents a liter in Calgary.. its $1.08 a liter

Its all an illusion. If you look at tank size VS. L/KM it's not nearly as good as you think.

My 04 kawasaki ninja 636 gets the same mileage as my 05 mazda 3 gt. So there is only savings if your car isn't fuel efficient. Another option is get a 250cc or scooter. Posted via RS Mobile |

The real measurement is, 1 US gallon = 3.78541178 litres.
$1.08 a litre. Since USD and CAD is same, exchange rate will make the gas approximately $1.10/litre.
Abbotsford gas is around $1.29/litre. 20¢ difference
Burnaby gas is around $1.46/litre. 36¢ difference
I always use websites like http://www.bcgasprices.com/ http://www.washingtongasprices.com/
I used to use gastips.com and contributed often, but they started going downhill....... lots of idiots reporting wrong info.
BTW, lineups were long today. So many people going across the border to get gas.

I miss Imprerial measurement. I can still remember the day Canada went metric. Frick, it was hard to get used to. Calculating in metric is thousand times better than with Imperial, of course, but when everything used to be measured one way, it was hard to change over.

Or just remember the magic number "264"
Take the US Gallon price and X 0.264 and you should get roughly $x / L
