I found a sc430 guy who wrapped his car in a similar colour to my ratrolla. Not bad…. The hood and gas cap looks ugly in this two tone. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...d755697ac.jpeg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...2b8219814.jpeg |

Badhobz must have inspired him. |

Nah those are my summers. Since the winters are on the summers went to get repainted. I bought them off a friend who got traded his M3. They used to be titanium but I didn't like the combo with LSB so I got them refinished to silver. https://scontent.fcxh3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...FQ&oe=640C1080 |
had these 50th anniversary roundel for awhile, finally got around to installing them today. https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/at...1&d=1678259739 |
We used to jack those roundels and put them on our wallets. Ahhh to be young again |
^ But why? Maybe I just wasn't a big enough BMW fan growing up.... I wasn't interested in M3's until recently |
There were a few kids in high school I knew who did that. They would steal hood emblems to build a collection but I never understood why. Maybe street cred? |
I've seen kids back in HS put mercedes emblems on chains as necklaces. :inoutugh: |

my buddy got into a fist fight with this old man mid jack, while he was trying to use dental floss on this guys 318i. We all ran away like pansy cuz this old man was jacked. He came back to school a week later with a cast on his jacking arm peepoClappeepoClap My buddy's name is Jack too... So thats a lot of jacks in one story |
Checked my intake filter, engine oil and air pressures. SeemsGood I'm considering upgrading my drivers seat to a Recaro Expert M in black leather with the suede inserts. The OEM Acura driver's seat in my car doesn't feel very high quality and I swear its crooked. |

Today I got the car back from the alignment shop, I brought it in yesterday but it wasn't holding an alignment so they ended up keeping it overnight and finishing it today. It handles a lot better but the ride height is still fucked. I put new strut inserts in the fronts, swapped the springs left to right, and removed the front lift spacers. The rear still has 1" of spacers on top of the strut mount. Stock is 14 4/16" all around. Right front 14 15/16" (11/16" higher than it should be) Left front 15 4/16" (1" higher than it should be) Right rear 14 10/16" (10/16" lower than it should be) Left rear 15 2/16" (2/16" lower than it should be) The left rear is the only corner that's roughly where I'd expect it to be. Everything else is completely out of wack. I have no clue what could be wrong or who to even ask about this. Hard to see with the dark paint and shit lighting but: https://i.imgur.com/Uk4yfTb.jpg https://i.imgur.com/MaTot0f.jpg |
Are some of your bushings wack causing the height difference? |
I loosened and reset every bushing on all 4 corners several times so they shouldn't be but who knows. I had to do it the fiddly way with the car in the air because I don't have access to a pit anymore but even if my technique was wrong I'd expect it to at least be consistently wrong and have all the corners fucked up in the same way. I even tried putting the front end back on the ground with the nuts completely backed off of the control arm bushings and it didn't change anything. |
Summers went on https://scontent.fcxh2-1.fna.fbcdn.n...rg&oe=642CEABC (Technically I didn't do anything... Overdrive did...) PS: It's gonna snow this weekend now isn't it? |

It's quite blue..... And some one else (duke?) thought it was gray? |
Two weeks ago, one of the hoses on my Greddy oil filter relocator came loose and dumped all the oil everywhere while I was driving on the highway. Pulled off on the next exit and had it towed home, bought some stronger hose clamps and reinstalled the hoses. https://i.imgur.com/TMSxojc.jpg I don’t think those normal hose clamps provided by Greddy could withstand the oil pressure…. Installed the MKIV Supra TT calipers, Project Mu Type PS (0-500 Degree Celsius and claimed to be low dust) and Dixcel Blanks for Supra, and also bled all four corners with Motul RBF700. https://i.imgur.com/hODaTTT.jpg |
