Yes. Epic quality VW. No wonder you’re god damn bankrupt

JDMDreams 11-18-2024 01:10 PM

The 5 billion that they spent to build os

AstulzerRZD 11-18-2024 02:50 PM

Germany and Japan are literally cooked -I’ve never seen organizations fail so bad at adapting to a new reality

BMW, VW by way of Rivian, Ford, GM, and whoever licenses tech from Lucid are the only legacies who are gonna survive all the change in auto industry.

Toyota/Honda are going to be ok but hella kneecapped financially in 5 years

JDMDreams 11-18-2024 02:56 PM

I mean all they need is physical knobs buttons and climate control. Just make a double din slot for us to install our own atoto ??? Profit I don't think we will be getting any fsd from Honda Toyota anyways unless they beg Tesla and get their os and cameras

AstulzerRZD 11-18-2024 04:40 PM

It's more... auto market is driven by...
1) Suburban and city-adjacent high income US markets
2) Mid 40s folk in Northern European Cities

For these buyers, they gonna need to combine automated driving/parking, powertrain profile (PHEV/EV), mapping, mobile app, and infrastructure info (parking/charging/tolls) together.
BMW, GM, Lucid, Rivian, Ford, and GM headed in the right direction.
Everyone else got their head where the sun don't shine

Toyota/Honda/MB still acting like all this shit is separate but...
Changing the people, their incentives, cost structure and attitude on QA/privacy/security is the actually hard part.

Of the legacies, BMW i7 has been the best exp so far.
Lyriq comes really close for a lot lower price for integrating all this shit tgt

Many hours later the paint correction and ceramic coating are complete. I need to pay a visit to my RMT now because my lower back, hips, knees, and shoulders are messed from this job.

Took two days off work to do it all while my kid was at daycare.

Are you done driving it until spring? I can’t imagine putting that much time and putting your body through all that just to get it all dirty again.

Most likely parking it for the winter now. It just got all its servicing done last week so everything is now up to date. Will just let coating cure for a week, and then do a quick rinseless wash to get rid of any dust build up. Then connect the battery tender and throw the car cover on until spring.

Badhobz 11-29-2024 10:11 AM

can you come organize my guangdong hoarder house!? go kick my wife in the ass and you can have your way with the entire house

maybe you can be the new Vancouver Marie Condo.

SSM_DC5 11-29-2024 10:16 AM

Are those funnels 3d print by yourself? I haven't seen them before.
I generally use ghetto methods to pour, like using the straw from the spray handle to guide it into the bottle or just pour slowly.

They're the Adams EZ fill threaded funnels.

My MIL's CRV had her catalytic converter sawed off in the middle of the night in north Burnaby, and the shop is recommending she buys a cage to protect her replacement. Where do I go find one?

red kryptonite 12-05-2024 03:39 PM

I didn’t know this was a real problem in BC

JDMDreams 12-05-2024 04:06 PM

You solve this by installing a test pipe

My customer in Kerrisdale had their cat chopped off in under 90 seconds, start to finish. Caught the whole thing on camera but not much you can do apart from physical security measures if they're in and out so quick. Getaway car was waiting a few houses down as a lookout.
