Not sure why Samsung design a dock that will not charge the phone.
and buying a spare battery? do you carry it around in your pocket?
I would want something like this instead.

Was talking to samsung tech guy today. He was doing installs in futureshop. Played with his note 2 and wow its fucking snappy. He had nfc lte full brightness on all day and about 4 hours he was still sitting at 85%.
Compared to my s3 with 4g on and low brightness I was at 75%......

The rear compartment is the charger.
Everyone carries around a spare battery in Korea, so yes, when I know I'm going somewhere, I'll take it with me.
You take multiple batteries with cameras - same idea.

I have 2 cheap spare made in China batteries that I keep with me. But I spend a lot of time playing Angry birds and other games.
