Sell it, yes. Unlock it? I think that's Tmobile, and not Costco.
historically Tmob will allow unlock if you are traveling overseas and no wait period. however i dunno about their policy on international customers. also Costco loves to throw in free stuff and gift cards.
I believe he isnt in vancouver anymore, or north America.

so when they say the note2 will be available for purchase on the 30th, does that just mean for online orders or can I actually go to a carrier to pick one up? and what about the Samsung store...?
As per the link above, maybe, its JUST ME... but the SGH-T889 should be penta-band. And if so, Mobilicity/Wind versions of this phone is the one to get (assuming that the LTE is firmware locked)

man, they only need 1 Pentaband Note II to rule the world... and scrap the CDMA version.. lol...
So if the T889 has 2100 freq, does that mean it will work in Asia, since most of the providers there use this for HSPA network..
Also, I dont get this.. the NA version and the AWS version is pretty much the same except the NA has more LTE freq.. why cant they just make 1 version for NA.. lmao
I believe it has to do with the current LTE chip technology. Other companies are making different LTE for different market as well (ie: iPhone 5 got 3 diff versions with differnet LTE bands)
