Quote:

Edmonton Oilers prospect Justin Schultz, playing with the Oklahoma City Barons, was named the AHL Player of the Month for October.

Schultz, who made his professional hockey debut in October, recorded a point in each of his first seven games, totalling six goals and 12 points - leading the Barons in scoring.

Schultz, a coveted free agent after a strong collegiate career at the University of Wisconsin, signed with the Oilers over the summer.

if you cant park in finnegans i'd probably park down the road or across the street

$1 hot dog $2 beer night tomorrow.

The traffic usually isn't bad at all.

Parking is $10 at the arena, but the park and ride is free and only two blocks away.

You can't go outside to smoke, a lot of people don't realize that and only get to watch the first period :lol

!Nhan 11-01-2012 08:00 PM

i hope it's the same deal for next weekend lol

how did you guys find out it's $1 hotdog and $2 beers?

I have friends who work at the arena, so they let me know.

Unfortunately next weekend isn't one of the nights its on.

Hondaracer 11-01-2012 08:15 PM

good to know as i thought it was every friday night game?

MindBomber 11-01-2012 08:20 PM

I'm pretty sure it was every Friday night game last season, but didn't raise the attendance enough to justify that frequency.

Went to the Marlies/Heat game tonight..Scrivens let in 2 shorthanded goals within seconds of each other..the second was off the draw from center ice hahahha. Typical Leafs.

Oilers' farm team is in town next weekend, that would be fun to watch especially with Hall joining the team.

I had a good time watching the Heat and Wolves last year. They had the Panago package last season: 2 tickets, 2 slices of pizza, 2 pops, for 30 bucks. And it was toonie beer too.

Mike Oxbig 11-02-2012 01:35 PM

would be worth the price, if you were to go see an oiler team. It's pretty much hall rnh eberle schultz.

Those are the only players worth watching on that team.

But for next year will it still be TOR vs DET or some other teams? Unless they bring back the Winter Classic and Heritage Classic.

Dreger: NHL makes significant move on 'make whole' provision

I still don't get this whole 'make whole' business, not 100% anyways. So the way I understand it basically this is the same as the PA's 3rd offer of down to 50/50 right away, and all existing contracts are honoured to full value since it's now the owners bearing the make whole cost instead of the players.

If the owners were willing to make that concession, they should have done it at that time instead of trying to scrounge a few more million off the players.

check out the sim. the score was .... haha

Harvey Specter 11-03-2012 01:23 AM

I feel the season is done. A few weeks ago there was talk that if the winter classic got cancelled, the rest of the season would be canned as well because it was one game that drew in millions of dollars for the league in terms of revenue. I also heard Don Cherry a few days ago and how he talked to players and he felt the season was toast.

mb_ 11-03-2012 02:50 AM

They're just saying all that to get our hopes up :okay:

The Marlies were 44-24-5-3 last season. They had the fewest goals against with 175 with Scrivens league leading GAA of 2.04. They also made it to the AHL finals with heavy injuries. I don't believe that game was typical of the Leafs prospects as of late.

check out the sim. the score was .... haha

In recent years the Leafs have played quite well against the Wings, winning or keeping it close. Last season the score was 4-3 Leafs - good game too.

murd0c 11-03-2012 11:19 AM

Vansterdam 11-03-2012 11:56 AM
