imo, gears are the best performance upgrade, where accelearation is more important than top speed. When I switch 3.62 gears to 4.11 gears on my E46 M3, the car woke up big time. The best part of gears is not even the acceleration, it was the improved city driveability

extracrunchie 12-04-2014 04:43 PM

^I believe you need to use some kind of resistors with thsoe

LP700-4 12-04-2014 05:14 PM

They come with built in resistors. One of the modules failed so currently waiting for a replacement. Do most companys make you pay shipping for a defective part warranty exchange?

!Aznboi128 12-04-2014 06:27 PM

^ I know v-leds don't, I had to send them a set back for 25 bucks shipping or get a new set for 35. So dumb

Glasspack Resonator because my car is too obnoxious and some wobble bolts

Anyone know the best place to get the resonator installed? Might just head over to TSS, but looking for other alternatives as well.

Triple Weber 40 DCOE w/ Canon Manifold. Merry Xmas Mr Datsun.

I actually am not sure if I'm going to use these or not, but they were much too good of a deal t pass up. I have slight turbo itch, and I think FI using megasquirt may be the smart way to go for the time being.

fliptuner 12-06-2014 04:20 PM

Multi-carbs are so sexy though.

I had a dual Weber 48 DCOE setup for mine but sold it in favour of OEM Solex 40's. 48's are way too big but I still want the nostalgic setup and they sound wonderful.

I guess it all depends on what your going for with the car.

hud 91gt 12-06-2014 04:28 PM

Oh I agree 100%. The more I think about how much money it is going to take to rebuild the motor for some decent power, the more I cringe. We'll see.
