we left saturday evening from vancouver and got off the ferry in nanaimo at 9pm, we then stayed overnight in port alberni and the next day it took us about 2 hrs to get to tofino (wet conditions so slow riding) and on our way back it took us almost 4 hours to get back to nanaimo (again, wet conditions)

But even though it was wet, the roads are amazing and we will definitely be going again when we get a stretch of good hot weather

Do you ride with a cam? It's a great way to make sure you'd get coverage if things don't turn out as lucky

Well that's a shame. Although their motto "simplify, and add lightness" already applies to almost every bike currently made. So I'm not sure what kind of genuine innovation they can bring to the table

i cant even imagine how much money they'd have to invest to actually do the R&D of their own bike to match or beat the current big manufacturers lol. i wonder who's gonna build it for them though

Here's some more info on it
Troubled Lotus To Sell Motorcycles Someone Else Will Actually Build

bike is a joint project of Kodewa of Germany, who built and ran an LMP2 car at Le Mans and used the Lotus name under license, and the Holzer Group, whose projects have competed in DTM, F1 and other forms of racing. Holzer will do all of the "development, production and assembly" of the bike. -Jalopnik

patched up my exhaust yesterday, was tired when putting it back on and put the gaskets in backwards haha... sounded like a tractor... had to ride to work at 6am with this noisy clattering monster...sorted that out this afternoon, so much quieter now haha.

although i wonder if it is any quieter than previously because i think the racket it was making last night and today might have biased my opinion haha.
