Wow, what good wildcard games today! Stafford with the winning TD to lead the Rams over the Panthers. Bears overcame a terrible first half to have a comeback win over the Packers. Caleb Williams had a much better second half with his two TD throws to help his team win. The Bears looked cooked in the first half of the game haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Two of the QBs of the future had tremendous games, nearly resulting in two massive upsets. One got all the way, thanks in part to a missed PAT. The other didn't, thanks in part to several drops by his receivers, and soft "prevent defense" giving up the go-ahead. What a couple awesome games! |
Great road win for the Bills. Allen’s running on the fourth and inches play to set up for the winning TD was perseverance! Impressive. Buffalo’s first playoff win on the road in more than thirty years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Kicker with the #1 and #2 kicking records and all time record in pre-season missed at the gun at halftime. Rookie kickers man FeelsBadMan |
Go Pats go!! Drake played well enough in this game. Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniel got the run game going with Stevenson. Running game with play action. Bring on the Texans or the Steelers!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
^ congrats on winning, that was a tough Defensive game. For the longest time, there were 9 points on the board, just 3 FGs! But NE got it going and their D continue to stifle Herbert. SF over Philly is fitting, Eagles have puttered to the finish line in terms of the regular season. 49'ers lost Kittle and still managed to put enough pts on the board to win. Bills vs. Jaguars was also a good back and forth game, but the veteran outplayed the young QB, put together a drive leaving just 1 min on the clock. I have a hard time seeing Bills advance in the next round vs. Broncos, they looked so banged up. |
Watching the Chargers is just like watching the 2019-2022 Ravens when they fall behind in a game (which tbf only really happened in the playoffs). Opponents come in with an answer to Greg Roman's very simple game plan, and he just can't try something different to counter it. This was just like the first Titans game, and the Bills game. Almost the same score too LUL On top of that, they had 4th and 5th string players blocking for Herbert, and he was running for his life half the time. Normally when that happens, the play caller makes adjustments, adding sweep plays, bootlegs, even some trick plays. But nope, just keep dialing up long developing passing plays while Herbert gets murdered over and over. All too familiar. Their defense looked good though. I kind of hope they bring back Minter. Drake had a bad game too, but the game plan was simple. Dink and dunk, checkdowns, and scrambles. He hit a few layups, missed a few more, but the Chargers were no challenge. If they play like this against an actual good team, they'd get wiped. Lucky for them, there are no good teams left in the AFC! Patriots had the easiest schedule in league history, and somehow that is going to continue into the playoffs Kappa Seriously though, Drake Maye getting at least two starts in his first year in the playoffs is really valuable. Even within this game you could see him get more comfortable. |
I don't know about "no good teams left" in the AFC in terms of championships contenders. Josh Allen is playing at MVP level now with his arms and his legs. His determined running at fourth and inches in the fourth quarter against the Jags was something to watch. He pushed the entire Jags defence back with his running on that play. The Bills cannot be counted out right now as contenders. Bills are favored to win against the Broncos in their divisional game: The Bills are a 1.5-point favorite over the Broncos in NFL playoff odds for the game, courtesy of BetMGM Sportsbook. Buffalo is -120 on the moneyline, while Denver is +100. The over/under (point total) is set at 46.5 point |
We haven't seen the Broncos play in playoff football yet so let's see how all the young players do with the pressure. Broncos look like a pretty well structured team with big D, and some effective offense. On paper, they seem like they are better than Bills but of course, Bills got the intangibles ... experience and Allen. Could go either way. But I feel like NE should be able to beat either Steelers or Texans (whoever wins tonight) in the next round so NE will be in the Conference finals with either Broncos or Bills, which should be a real good battle. I feel that those 3 teams, on any given Sunday could win. |
I was being facetious, hence the Kappa As for that 5 yard "tush push" that was the Bills O-line more than Josh himself. His feet were in the air for much of it LUL Josh played amazingly well, but the team still has some issues. Gabe Davis tore his ACL too |

Texans are pissing down their legs; the Ravens would have eaten this team alive. This is infuriating to watch |
Texans are messing up their snaps during their offensive drives haha. Three times in this game hahaha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Looks like the Steelers of the Browns game a couple of weeks ago showed up, not the Steelers of the Ravens game. GG Houston. Only game out of the 6 in the wildcard weekend that was a blowout, not decided in the last 5 mins. That's how terrible of a game it was. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, it's too bad that the rules had to have a representative from AFC North. Weakest division, not a team in there deserved to advance. Rodgers is 42, the head coach of the Texans Ryans is 41. Time to hang up the cleats AR8 ... honestly, you might be a decent coach but for the love of God, don't come back and play another year. Maybe move Tomlin to upstairs, front office, a mutual save face way to part, and get a fresh voice as a coach in the locker room. |
Well the Steelers finally ran out of bullshit. As soon as the Texans player did NOT muff the punt, I knew it was over. They must have used it all up over the two Ravens games I was nervous at first with CJ's sketchy play, but in the end a VERY successful hate watch :awwyeah: Rodgers' final pass of his career is a pick 6 that sent every one home as miserable as possible! :awwyeah: :awwyeah: :awwyeah: :awwyeah: :awwyeah: :awwyeah: |
Patriots having the easiest path forward by far... neither of these teams deserved to be where they were today. |
The Texans deserve to be there, they have a 2000 Ravens/2015 Broncos type defense that can win them any game including the last one. If anything, CJ's incompetence proved it even more. Drake is going to have to be very quick and be able to escape to beat this team. |
I know this is AI but it's funny ... https://www.youtube.com/shorts/K2LRroTvraE This is true and factual though! Tomlin ... do the honourable thing ... step aside. |

Josh McDaniels' offensive scheme might involve more running plays instead of passes from Drake. New England has good running backs with Stevenson and Henderson. My prediction is the offensive strategy will be running plays. Drake will be less involved in terms of passing in this game against Houston than what many people think. The Pats are going to try to run the ball down the throats of the Texans. Mark my words. Houston, you're gonna have a problem against the Pats' running game. :gun: -watched the post game discussion on TSN Sportscentre after the Texans and Steelers game on Monday night. Their analyst, former player and Superbowl champ (Seahawks) Luke Willson, is correct. Willson said that the weakness of the Pats are their receivers. The strength of their offence is built around their running backs. This team has weapons in their RBs. It's not just Drake. Go Pats go! |
Mike Tomlin steps down as Steelers coach after 19-year https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...ers-head-coach ** Cincinnati Bengals "SHOULD" fire Zac Taylor LUL He did a poor job for few seasons now so the whole AFC North will have brand new Head coaches |
Came faster than I thought ... didn't even take a few days. Maybe it was in the back of his mind, if we lose, I'm walking away. But this is how I think it should be done ... with class. Don't see any signs of organizational dysfunctionality. |
In jest ... of course! |

As a Ravens fan, I am thrilled he decided to leave! FWIW Bisciotti said the same thing would have happened if Loop had made that kick. I don't know how true that is, but apparently John was gone too. I think the signs were there all season long too, especially after losing that Patriots game. |

Giants on the road to respectability. Good landing spot. |
