But that Calgary house will be like $2.5m here, not bad looks well kept, just need to declutter it |
From a local Vancouver listing, the "We Serve Colored Carry Out Only" sign is a nice touch. Really gives the room character lol. https://cdnparap130.paragonrels.com/...2644572-17.JPG |
Honda you finally put your place up for the move?:lol Lol post the listing. Imagine being the real estate agent and being like "yeah these photos will do" |
|
^It's little things like that which let us peer into the little minds of some of these elderly white boomer's true thoughts and feelings, fly your racist flag in the safety of your home. Typical Trumper. That is absolutely wild that photo and staging made the cut. Imagine attending an open house and seeing that, I'd piss all over that god damn bed. |
What type of fucking wack job has a Trump campaign poster and a maga hat as an accessory in your master bed? Lol wtf |

Mike gets takeout only from their dinner parties. There's way more of these fucking scumbags around than we think unfortunately. Most just don't need to turn those thoughts into home decor. |
i mean it just looks like it's all in one bedroom. could very well just be the 40yo son who still lives at home |
Ours is a 920 sqft 2bd 2ba newer unit listed at $1,029,900. We've been on market now for 20 days. Today will be our 4th open house. We've had just one lowball offer of $950k (he came back later at $972k before we told him to buzz off). Also, if we listed 12-18 months ago, we'd be listing at $100k higher. And on top of that, there are 2 other comparable units in our building for sale at the same time that we're directly competing against. When they say inventory is the highest its been since 2019, they are right! This market has definitely cooled and now might be a good time to consider buying if you weren't sure. (Hey maybe Ch28 is still trying to time the market haha). |
would have been even more awesome if he/she was chinese |
^^ you and your buddy guy, ha friends going on strike again?! |
Just their foremens and just at centerm for now. They gave 72h notice. Sounds like the perfect time for me to take vacation. Fuck this shit. Bunch of greedy assholes all make well over 350k a year and still want more. Yeah yeh yeah I get it. I was in a union once. Although the conductors union had wayyyy less power than these chuckle heads |
Longshore the only union that actually works the way people perceive unions to act Everyone else just takes your money for private sector pay and more headaches |
Automation will fuck over that industry eventually, they are just trying to kick the can far enough down the road where it won't affect them |
It’s coming but it’s not coming fast enough. Even when deltaport brought in automation for their rail gantry cranes they didn’t lose any jobs. They just moved the operator into an air conditioned room where they literally press one button. The crane does 99 percent of the work. They just need to “confirm” the action. In Europe and Asia all the terminals are basically autonomously operated. Way less staff. Much higher productivity and less issues with safety overall. We won’t see that shit in our lifetimes here. This union is way too strong and backwards. |
^^ Sounds like bcmea is going to lock out the whole coast now if the foreman go ahead with it, oh the drama lol |
I was part of a very large union in the early-mid to 2000s. We came close to strike action multiple times but the union never pushed through with it. Not all unions are the same but this one was all filler, no winner. *Me attending meeting Spokesperson: "Alright my brother's and sisters, we will fight the company tooth and nail to make sure we get the best agreement possible for you all. We value all our members' hard work and service. No one will get left behind because we are family and you will get the best from us! Members: peepoClappeepoClappeepoClappeepoClappeepoClap *starts chanting random victory phrases Me: "What in the communism am I listening too?" Fast forward weeks later: Spokesperson: "We did the best we could but we believe we have done the best for you, my brothers and sisters. So go forth and enjoy this new collective agreement that we worked so hard for and know that strike action was not needed because we are here for you!" Me: *Looking at new collective agreement* "My wage went up 10cents / hour" Also: My union could not support strike action here and in NorCal at the same time, so we were sacrificed, otherwise union coffers would have bled dry. Can't have that! Me in full epiphany mode "This is communism! peepoClap |
I'm down with unions striking for better pay/ quality of life but when they protest technology/automation/progress for the sake of keeping jobs I'm not a supporter. If they had their way, we would've still had switchboard operators. Government unions is another topic... they seem to view taxpayers as unlimited money. |
my union had a shit deal and people were too stupid to vote 'no'. :derp: Full COLA clause kicked in but still getting slave wages. Ready to jump ship to a government union job so I can get unlimited taxpayer money :troll: If anyone works for the city, PM me. |
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/briti...tice-1.7256716 So the Labor Relations Board deemed it an illegal strike but I got a feeling these yahoo's will continue with their strike regardless. We were initially going to lock them out of all the ports as a response, but now that's been rescinded. Im going to call in sick on Monday. |
teamsters were useless when revscene got me fired from ikea :lawl: Fuckers still have my initiation fee, I would work 4 hours for a payperiod and only get paid 2 because half if it when to the initiation fee |
