This is a crazy deal for the much maligned EOS M. Though with the new firmware updates, even the bad reviews shouldn't make it hard to pick this guy up at $300 (+$150 for the EF/S adapter as well) Canon EOS-M Mirrorless Digital Camera with EF-M 22mm f/2 |
Really? Not even worth 299? Posted via RS Mobile |

Holy shit, that's a good deal. Would've been a better deal than my $400 GH2 for a second video camera. But I'm holding out for a X100s or OM-D as my compact system camera. |
Really considering picking the EOS M with the 22mm f/2 to replace my D3100 + 35mm f/1.8. I mostly shoot food photos and the form factor of a mirrorless system combined with the $300 price tag with a fast prime is looking really appealing |
Priced it out: $335 shipped to my door via BH with Purolator (taxes and fees in). But their EF/S adapter is sold out :( On that note, FS was selling the adapter for 99. If only I saw it earlier :okay: |
I just ordered one too, going to pick it up at Pt. Roberts  |
why the fuck don't they just sell the body! |
EOS M is pretty good after the firmware update. I ordered 1 for my friend from Canon Online for $350 which included the camera, 18-55mm, and flash. I woulda ordered one for myself but I already own a Nex 5R as my secondary camera. |
man... this price makes my X-E1 seem like it cost my left kidney to buy :( |
Nice. Jumped on the EOS M as well. Would prefer smthn smaller with video for my vacation coming up. And I know my gfs rents were looking for smthn like this so maybe I shall show this to them too :considered: Posted via RS Mobile |
Update: all 22mm models are backordered. |
Heard today that the EOS-M was discontinued. I hope my backorder goes through. Or should I just pick up the 18-55 mm kit and get the 22 mm lens somewhere else? |
Should be two new EOS M cameras coming. |
i heard a 3D version, lotsa pixels too. i wouldv'e bought the original version long time ago but i will not use an EVF. fuck, look like a tourist or what. |
Adorama sent me an email today saying they would be unable to fulfill my order, and were cancelling it on my end. :( Edit: Amazon looks like they got stock again. :awwyeah: |
Wanted to pick one up.. but price creeped back up to $349. |
Anyone know where I can get this for less than 199... Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 R Lens |
$199 is actually pretty cheap for a zoom lens actually. You're probably not gonna get much cheaper unless you buy used. |
EOS M + 18-55 is back at $349. Looking for a deal on travel tripods, softboxes and light stands. |

Took all the self-control I had to not add this to cart: REFURBISHED NIKON D800 D-SLR BODY 33753B Refurbed D800 for 2300+tax (didn't check how much shipping was to BC) A HUGE chunk off MSRP. Yeah it's refurb, but it still has a 1 year warranty with Nikon, and not to mention they have a service center here. |
Wow. That's a hell of a deal. |
Ugh another deal to tempt my wallet: Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT Camera Mounted Flash 5296B002 - Vistek Canada Product Detail For the lazy, that's a Canon 600EX-RT for $420 from Vistek. PM at ME for a small discount off of their price ($470.00). If you feel extra adventurous, wait until tomorrow to PM because the ME sale ends. Assuming they don't have another sale, you get 25% off a $180 difference (or 420-45 + tax = $420 for a flagship flashgun). That said, something tells me that this Vistek deal will end tomorrow too. :okay: |
Canon EOS 5D Mark III Digital SLR Kit w/ EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Price beat with Aden camera $3625 = $3,556.25 Lowest Price I've seen so far. |
