$60 is usually what you'll find.

Sterlingtek has a good rep for 3rd party and it's about $25 a battery.

Hey, go for the 5N instead. The newer 5R has been tested and results show that it's not as good as the previous 5N. The 5R offers new features such as downloadable apps and wifi capabilities for photo sharing, which are all gimmicks IMO.

I called in to ask about the 5N at the Sony outlet and it's an openbox apparently.

~my 2 cents

$50 a piece still sucks when 16GB SD cards cost like $10.

Would anyone be interested in a group buy? I'm checking in with a friend that works at a camera store for high speed CF cards and 5D batteries.

I would be interested in CF groupbuy...
I've been using Sterlingtek batteries for the past 2 years, no complaints and lasts longer than oem.

selling for $15.00 on amazon, cheaper than from their website.

might have to pick up a few more

^i've been reading up on sterlingtek batts and there's plenty of "don't buy it" reviews, so i'm hesitating on getting them

Well, scratch that...16GB 400x Lexars would be $69 and that's about as low as they can go.

I read good things about Sterlingtek. Most people on photo forums have high praise since they're chipped so they have the info that regular LP-E6's would have. However, they are $27 each rather than $10 like eBay batteries and many people say you might as well buy genuine ones for $60.

I'll probably get a couple. Two STK for the price of one Canon seems like a good deal.

Hmmm, $129 is a great price. Other solutions like Cineskates and such are more expensive and are only either a dolly or a slider.

Can't find any reviews though. None for Kamerar products.

EDIT: shipping is free to the US and Canada. They ship DHL/Fedex/USPS so no stupid UPS brokerage fee.
