It's a bit small and looks like 2kg limit but for $50, good for lighter setups.

Are you sure they'll adjust boxing day sales?

Honestly I haven't opened it yet. It's still in the box at work. I've had 5 and 5N before so I know how the camera feels and functions. I also have the 55-210mm. Great for vacationing where you don't want to lug an SLR around. One thing I do look forward to is the new autofocus and the extra wheel.

I'll bitch at them if they can't match their own price. Cause that would be just too retarded on their own part.

If you read the fine print it says they wont price match boxing day/week sales. But since it's their own, they might? haha

Yeah I just took that as matching competitors boxing day/week prices. We'll see tomorrow.

Mikroft, let me know if you have any problems with that. That would be stupid if they didn't match.

You got a smoking deal. Especially with the $100 gift card you have. If you sold this camera next year around September time you'll get it for more than you paid for! Heck sell the kit lens since I'm pretty sure you have it already. The camera is basically a "give away".

Lol. I do. I have a complete Nex 5N Kit in the box that I need to sell now. Shame that it's just a few months old.

By the way, can you test out the image quality of NEX-5R's kit lens with the NEX-5N's. I know the 18-55mm improved when Sony released the 5N. Just wanted to see if they improved the lens further.
