I remember your car well SpartanAir, she was a beaut. I think we've got some amazing used cars coming down the pipeline from Japan soon, including S15 Silvias, Evo VI Tommi Makinens, and of course the R34 GTRs. They're still holding their value very well though, so the price of entry won't be cheap, but it'll certainly be worth it. |
You guys realize GTRs are still like a year away, right? |

Starting prices for the R34 in Canada have been estimated at $75,000-$100,000. Some clean models are commanding higher prices than R35's in Japan...quite a jump from the R33! |
:okay: There's still the "regular" Skylines NISSAN SKYLINE 25GT TURBO | 1998 | BLUE | 192,000 km | details.- Japanese used cars.Goo-net Exchange Sidenote - They're about 50k before shipping and extra fee's (NISSAN SKYLINE GT-R V SPEC II | 2001 | WHITE | 101,000 km | details.- Japanese used cars.Goo-net Exchange) which should tack on about 8K so i'm guessing about 65k or so for one if you'd really want to import them. I'd suspect dealers here importing them then selling for 100k marking them as an "ICONIC 2F2F Car - ONLY $100,000". |
I'm just grateful that GT-R's can be bought in this country. +1 for reasonable import laws Edit: Prices in the Anglophone RHD countries (UK, Ireland, Aus, NZ) for clean R34s are about $40-50k CDN. But those aren't grey imports (For example, 100 R33 GT-Rs and 100 R34s were imported by Nissan UK, and through the Single Vehicle Transfer scheme launched in 1998 unlimited numbers can be imported.) |
holy fuck , that white r34... |

that's for a great condition one with reasonable/lower mileage. don't know where people are getting these prices, of course the low mileage, rare colored ones, or V-spec II etc cost quite a bit more... but not a regular GT-R or even V-spec. |
