There is an exporter in Japan that i've deal with for past 6 -7 years. I found the car and he does the paper work in japan and ship the car over. I deal with the importing myself.

Roughly 2.5 months left. Finally being able to see them legally shipped and on the road will be the best birthday present ever. :fullofwin:

So this is probably a stupid question, but where do you buy parts when it comes to doing regular maintenance?

brb buying oil filter from japan
brb buying brake pads from japan

or are many parts interchangeable with cars here? iirc some 300zx parts are interchangeable?

smoothie. 04-07-2013 09:13 PM

Overnight parts from Japan.

it is actually very easy, even for say a r33 gtst, the rotors do not match to any north american model, so I bought dba 4000xs rotors from autoanything.com by calling them and giving them the part number that i want.

Nissan only has a few oil filters not to hard to find the correct one.skylines all use the same one as a 240sx

CA_FTW 05-17-2013 07:13 AM

My Buddy just picked up his.

Appearance wise, Is it just a matter of changing bumpers, side skirt to convert a GTST/GTT into a GTR?

CA_FTW 05-17-2013 09:10 AM

Here is most of what you need.
