foul play has been suspected in this whole ordeal so not to make any assumptions, but i doubt she took herself to the roof and put herself in the water tank..

let's wait for the full story though

on a semi related note, i was looking around on the "find elisa lam" facebook group at some past comments, and a found a post that decyphered the video in a different way than seeing drugs cause her behaviour in the elevator. keep in mind police did state she had some mental issues. i can sort of see where he's coming from now. i don't believe she was on drugs in that video to be honest. a small, 21 year old girl who's lived with her parents all her life wouldn't know how to react to a situation where her life was seriously endangered. throw in some adrenaline and you have abnormal behaviour

Spoiler!

there was also this, which was posted about a week ago

Spoiler!

again, these are all assumptions, so take from them what you will

I still want to know what she was doing at a hotel like that in the first place?

RIP

RiceIntegraRS 02-19-2013 01:13 PM

Ive been following this case closely, alot of people were saying if the whole entire hotel was searched or not. It seems like it wasnt. I wonder if the autopshy can figure out the exact date of death. To see if she died after the media release. One thing i dont get is why more information wasnt released to the public and media. I can see why if they had a suspect or if it was kidnapping so they didnt want to tip them off, but it doesnt seem like the case here. Theres alot of questions that has to be answered here.

Anyways Rip

yeah, think about all the times you rinse your mouth in the shower...

Poor girl, I hope they find out what happened to give the family a little closure.

Jesus man, reading that not only gave me the chills - it just felt so morbid.
It was mentioned that there's a minute missing from the video shown, who knows what happened then. :(

Dont know why she chose that hotel, but people suspect she went to the Canucks vs Kings when she was in LA, she was on her way to Santa Cruz to learn how to farm
For school or something

agreed. something about this entire story as a whole has been giving me the chills since the first media release, moreso after the video was released

and i'm gonna go out on a limb and say she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. perhaps looking for a cheap hotel to stay in for a few nights before she left to santa cruz, and not knowing the area/doing research, she checked into a shithole in a shithole part of the city - more than likely pretty cheap

dhari 02-19-2013 01:22 PM

sad news man. rip

vyrospec 02-19-2013 01:29 PM

damn RIP, condolences to her family

MR_BIGGS 02-19-2013 01:42 PM

Definitely a lot of unanswered questions. One would think there is surveillance of her being taken up to the roof? It seems like an oversight of the police and investigators to not check the roof or water towers.

Such a sad story we may never have all the facts to.

miss_crayon 02-19-2013 01:45 PM

This is a tragedy. A freaking tragedy.

Even though there was a small chance of finding her alive and safe, I was really hoping she'd be the small percentage of victims being found. It makes me so sad to see a young life lost. All that potential, life to live..GONE..AND FOR WHAT?!! This is like.... AGHHH!!! I can't even imagine what her family and friends are feeling right now.

What makes this whole thing even worse is, this probably wasn't an accident or a case of her being in the wrong place/wrong time..but someone or people probably targetted her with a purpose and had to make her suffer. I don't even want to think how scared she was and praying she would see her family/loved ones one last time.

I hope whoever did this gets what they deserve.

MR_BIGGS 02-19-2013 01:53 PM

Hotels typically have surveillance in the elevator and in the hallways, no?

lol is there a reason he's still banned... he was right on his bet.

bensta 02-19-2013 02:58 PM

the poor girl, rip

also, the poor people who were drinking and showering in that water..

bcedhk 02-19-2013 03:10 PM

wonder if it involved an ex or current employee of the hotel??? it looked quite difficult for someone to have done this alone, just look at how tall the water tank is and how narrow the opening of the tanks are..

Kidnapman 02-19-2013 03:13 PM

Nasty. Employees must've shit their pants when they found a body in the water tank.

Everymans 02-19-2013 03:14 PM

with the amount of investigation put into this story it really feels like just another murder in los angeles which is a a shame because of how peculiar it is. From what I've grabbed from this thread the majority of the clues about this story have come from everyday citizens.

jack3d 02-19-2013 03:19 PM

how did cameras not pick this up?
