Meanwhile other cryptocurrencies 10x, 50x, 100x, 1000x their value.

I like your mindset in the your last 2 posts.

I'm in the same boat and way of thinking.

I"m in in for the long haul.

at $1102 when it's $970 at bitstamp that is +13% (which is 6% USD/CAN difference +7% ATM Markup Fee).

Soooo steep!

Yeah. Those guys are making a killing. When I went, there was @ least 5 ppl ahead trying to buy but couldn't cause the ATM was too full of cash lol.

Brb....making a 2nd bitcoin ATM in Van.

I can tell you that our ATM in Vancouver requires a float of over $300,000 in order to keep it running, and even that wasn't enough on Monday - we ran out of money. The problem is the time that it takes to process the money, get it to the bank, and then the time it takes to wire it back to the exchange.
Considering purchasing a bitcoin ATM : Bitcoin

Our fee is 7% right now at the ATM. The thing is very expensive to operate. We had to hire two employees to help people use it, and to answer questions. Wiring money to and from the exchange is very expensive, plus we have to pay exchange fees, and Robocoin fees. Managing the cash that goes into and comes out of the ATM is also very expensive. If you want to do larger purchases outside of the ATM we can facilitate them for a lower rate, just shoot an email to contact@bitcoiniacs.com

At $1000 a coin thats 300BTC and I highly doubt they move 300btc a day.

Those guys complain its expensive but the 7% they make on the 300K is not small change.

For those in hk, which exchange are you guys using to buy your bitcoins? Anyone using Asia nexgen?

Razor Ramon HG 12-03-2013 05:03 PM

Which pool do you guys use? I acquired a 7950 and a 270X for mining. Configuring everything now.

LTCRabbit seems good with its own Linux bootable OS and tutorial to get started. Tried with BAMT and it seems harder to configure.

what is the best and safest way to store your bitcoins? I'm still new to all this but it definitely seems interesting.

How many Bitcoins have been mined so far? Is there anywhere you can see this number?

How are you taking a loss?

NMC is at $8.6 right now.

So about $9.2 canadian...

Ill sell for same price as him if anyone wants it.

falcon 12-03-2013 10:22 PM

It's a loss because he prob bought into the NMC hype/pump and bought at $12+.

To think I had a few thousand NMC when they were $0.50. :( Should have kept them.

There's a lot you should have kept :(

Along with the 30,000FTC bought at like $0.08/9 :(...

Dont worry, I'm in on Quark. It will soon have the Keiser effect thrown on it like LTC had back in Nov (100M market cap increase in 24hours).

sh0n 12-04-2013 08:52 AM

Anyone in on other crypto's or alts?

You do realize that Quark is a pump-n-dump scheme?
