btc mining isn't really that profitable unless you have cheap/free power, if one were to start mining is ETH the way to go?

trading channel are not very fond of ETH, the reasoning behind it is way over my head.

that ETH rig posted above, if must not be profitable, who gives up a passive income like that. use a baby gate if toddler are getting into things

There are companies that just sell mining rigs. Eth difficulty is about to go up. Easiest way to start mining is to go to nanopool.org . If you need any help let me know. there are other coins that are easier to mine but don't make as much. The hope is they go up in value down the road.

My transaction got backlogged tremendously and Etherscan crashed at the same time, lol

Went up on EtherDelta and Liqui yesterday. Going on Binance tomorrow.

KNC already 4x :woot2: Will probably cash out once it goes onto a larger exchange.

I was looking to get more than 3.6 ETH and then I read about how people used family member's IDs to get past the KYC. Wish I had thought about it, lol.

EDIT: Also looking forward to the Red Pulse ICO if you're in that. I forgot to register during the China fiasco earlier this month. Cousin got in, so I'll send him my NEO, lol.

No I didn't, was pending forever.. but I kind of expected that to happen. As you said, people had multiple ID's.. some guy even got 100 ID's and wrote a script to send 3.6 ETH each. I'm in on Red Pulse as well.. Too bad NEO started going up though, can't dump as much NEO in.. KYC results next week!

EDIT: Also, I got in on ICON recently, I feel pretty good about that. It's supposed to be the NEO of Korea, so if you haven't, it might be a wise idea to pick some up after it hits the exchanges. I'm going to try and pick more up as well

i've look into mining rigs like the antminer.

my buddies has been mining btc and have great success due to his source for cheap/free power. Been looking at getting into the action.

how to do you feel about ETH as an altcoin as a trader not a miner.

Yeah, I did some DD on ICON previously, but I then forgot about it and the pre-sale pretty much sold out, so no crowdsale AFAIK. Have to buy it on exchanges.

My cousin is in RP. I'll have to pass since I forgot to register, lol.

On a side note, it seems like all China coins are mooning except OMG.

WTC, BNB, NEO.

Invested 2K into some 1ST earlier today. They announced they worked out a deal with the Chinese government for esports and apparently they're in talks with Tencent.

What is the best exchange for high volume buying and liquidity selling.
I have been interested before but afraid of liquidity and not understanding crypto.

threezero 10-13-2017 05:05 PM

^ fine an exchange with 100x leverage and dive in

in all seriousness trading crypto is like trading forex. You can't really make money unless you use leverage or have loads of money to begin with. If you already trade forex the technical analysis transfer over.

If this is your first experience trading forex, be prepare to get burn.

If you just want to get in on the rising btc action, its best to just wait for a correction buy in and wait it out. Forex trading is not for the faint of heart

If you're wanting in on trading Altcoins, bittrex.com and binance.com are your best bet. Bittrex has higher volumes and a lot more coins listed but Binance has lower fees and better customer service.

Bitfinex.com and GDAX.com are your best bet if you just want to BTC/ETH/LTC/USD

Has anyone withdrawn money from a Bitnational machine at Waves before?

I encountered a problem where I sent the moeny from my Blockchain app and it was confirmed, but I never got a receipt from the machine. It never progressed form the barcode screen.. anyone else encounter this?

Anjew 10-13-2017 07:59 PM

The transaction would have been recorded on the blockchain, isnt that enough?

No, because the machine didn't print out a receipt with the redemption code, so I couldn't withdraw my money..

I am withdrawing money.

I've never had a problem depositing money. I've withdrawn money before and never had a problem. I was using a machine I've never used and thought it was weird that it didn't spit out a receipt. I'm assuming it's a machine problem.

I'm calling Bitnational as soon as they open tomorrow.

Does anyone know any websites where I can short bitcoins?

Also interested in doing a local deal, if anyone is interested in lending around 1-1.5 bitcoins (I can pay around 15% APR, looking at borrowing for around 1-3 months)

It would be a good idea for people who are interested in holding bitcoins anyways, as this will have no effect on you and you can earn interest on top (We can work out the collateral details)

Anyone selling bitcoin? Pm me

tomatogunk 10-22-2017 05:23 PM

If it worked why are they selling it and not using it themselves? There is also a similar opensource program called blackbird.

Thoughts on Bitconnect? I've been seeing a lot of ads lately about it. Seems more like Amway but with BTC. Don't get me wrong tho, MLMs, like Amway, aren't a scam. Just want to hear your thoughts on it.

Supposedly a ponzi scam. I'd stay away to be safe.

Would you guys still buy now to get into alts despite that there could be a correction in BTC? I think a lot of the alts will rocket after the fork, question is if the percentage gained on the alts will exceed the drop of BTC.
