You can read the source code yourself -- it's all transparent so you can be sure whatever you expect to happen after you run the code will happen.

Here's Golem's contract code:

guurl 06-06-2017 11:10 AM

I can't believe I missed out when ETH went from 190 to 150...now it's sitting pretty at 260. fml.

I hate seeing Stratis. Bought at 1.21, sold at 3.20. Thought I did well until I saw it go up to 11.

HA. I'm terrible for advice

Coinbase / GDAX has been infuriating. Constantly freezing and won't allow you to direct deposit from a Canadian bank account. I tried to buy $1000 of ETH @ 120 and after 5 days it was inexplicably declined. Now my credit card isn't supported on their site and trying to re-add it or another has the CVV issue or it says my card is declining the transaction. Total POS site, and CEX is even worse and won't verify my ID. These sites have cost me thousands based on the current rise because they can't process trades.

If anyone knows of a better way to buy and trade BTC and ETH I am all ears.

SkinnyPupp 06-06-2017 06:40 PM

Are there no physical exchanges in Vancouver where you can just go deposit cash into an account and buy from there? That's what I do here, it's the cheapest method to buy with fiat

I used to in the past with bitcoiniacs but they kept up raising their rates and required id.

Unfortunately I'm not in Van, or any major city for prolonged periods of time so I need to be able to exchange reliably online from wherever I am.

Has anyone tried coinsquare.io? They advertise super low trading fees and seem to cater to Canadians. Am I to be the guinea pig?

I use ATM's at Waves to buy bitcoin with Blockchain app.

I'm looking forward to what Syscoin has to offer. It's shown good activity in the past couple of weeks dating back to early May. Bought at 0.11. My advice is buy SYS!

How are the fees?

Is it cash only? Need ID?

There is one near my home and I plan on dropping off some and depositing it into my Jaxx.

I have a couple altcoins I want to buy, but then I need a way to buy ETH with BTC...

I bought BTC from coinbase and also quickBTC. QuickBTC took a long time to verify, and they limit to only 0.032 BTC max from your interact card. They sent me my BTC a day or two later and the rate and everything seemed very bad so I doubt I will buy from them again. I emailed them why it took so long and they told me it had to do with first time verifications to stop fraud etc. Maybe it will be better the 2nd time but I don't wanna risk it.

Coinbase is pretty good for buying off your visa and instantly with an OK fee. But yea, 200$ CAD limit a week is not that great...

Small fee, around $15-20 cad for a $300 transaction

It's cash only and no ID. Complete anonymity. $2000 limit

Nice. I should have gone today during the dip.

Razor Ramon HG 06-07-2017 10:19 PM

ATM fees are way too high.

Just get verified at Quadriga and wire the money over.

G 06-07-2017 11:47 PM

^ any limits? All the apps/sites that I have tried either have a weekly limit, BTC buying limit, or aren't compatible with direct deposits for Canadian banks.

Gerbs 06-08-2017 12:47 PM
