I sort of hope Luongo doesn't want to play here anymore and demands a trade. He would probably be one of the players I wouldn't be upset about not playing here. Just the whole way the organization has dealt with the situation and Lu still being such a professional; he deserves better.

Farewell Schneider! Met him when he first got called up to play back up, am a huge fan of him and his whole approach to being so calm. All the best! This is the most interesting offseason in recent memory.

MG screwed the guy and made this into a bad situation for a whole year. Lu made it clear that he wants to be traded and MG made it clear he is trying to trade him and go with Schneids.

Now you tell him, you can have your job back? I tell him to fuck off.

Of course Lu is upset, who can blame him? He had his heart set on leaving and was reassured by management that it would happen. Yes, he will be a professional and play, but his heart is no longer here. This can only get worse imo.

He needs to suck it up and realize no one wants that stupid contract. He gets big bucks so he's gonna be a pro and play. He's gonna need a big year to be Canadas number one at the olympics.

They said owners didn't have money to buyout Lu's contract. If Lu walks, I don't blame them as it's the owners/Gillis fault that it got to this.

I hope Lu pulls a Tim Thomas on the nucks. Gillis and the nucks deserves to be fucked.

If Gillis actually told lu, NJ is interested in Schneider before the draft, it would've been an olive branch. A respect move, but he didn't. Not classy at all.
