Telus install took about 5 hours. Lol. Overall, I'm quite happy how professional the installer was because it was quite a bitch with the old wiring around the house and everything had to be done from scratch. With the provided modem/router, I can say I'm pretty much done with configuring routers. The one Telus provides works right out of the box. Posted via RS Mobile
Yes, monitored but you won't get a letter unless you are crazy crazy over the limit.

Does it just effect wireless or do you notice issues with wired as well?

anyone have issues with their Optik TV?
It's been raining the whole day and since, my phone line is static with a busy signal and the TV signal is skipping every or so second.

It shouldn't be too complicated to plug in yours behind the actiontec. There are lots of guides on it.
I have both Shaw and Telus (work related) and I love Telus Optik TV especially with the new channel realignment but you can't compare Telus internet vs Shaw internet...
how do ppl get better plans? currently paying 125 for cable, internet and phone. Where is the student plan on the site? I was a student ..... maybe telus is cheaper?
