Wow ... still surprised that Gaethje lost ... but reading the summary (didn't watch it), it looks like Halloway poked Gaethje, not just one but both eye ... c'mon, you're a pro, you can't be doing the eye poke thing?! Win with an * beside it.

Peirera and Hill ... didn't know much about Hill but he looked badass from clips, promos, trailers with a 12-1 record. Maybe a rematch to see what he really has ... got clipped by Peirera and it was over too soon.

That fight was anything but boring.

Both guys were teeing off on each other, if anything the fight got way more interesting after that broken nose.

The tuning point was before that, at the end of the first round.

Nah not boring I was just being stupid. But the end was a lot better than the rest of the fight.

They were just so evenly matched that they kind of canceled each other out, with Halloway winning on the score cards. Halloway had him a few times, but wouldn't commit to finishing. Until the very end when Gaethje forced his hand.. LUL

That's why I say he saved it! Made a great moment out of what would have been a pretty clear decision win. If Gaethje caught him instead, it would have been an all timer. Very risky for Halloway to do!
