I thought Ricciardo was gonna get P1 then Rosberg since Hamilton had a minor lockup in T1 then Hamilton crossed the line in P1 :awwyeah:

some people have said mercedes is still punishing him /shrug makes for an interesting end of season i guess

Race organizers are bracing themselves for a rain-disrupted Japanese Grand Prix this weekend as a powerful typhoon closes in.

Heavy rain lashed the Suzuka circuit on Thursday with more wet and windy weather forecast for the weekend as Typhoon Phanfone is predicted to slam into Japan on Monday.

Several drivers have been warned, with Force India’s Sergio Perez telling reporters: “The hurricane might come. If it comes, probably we won’t be able to race.”

Organizers could be forced to tweak the schedule to avoid major disruption, should the typhoon strike the region.

Severe weather conditions are nothing new at the Japanese Grand Prix, and a cancellation remains highly unlikely.

The race has twice been thrown into chaos by extreme weather in the last decade, with torrential rain delaying qualifying until race-day morning in 2004 and 2010.

A wet race could also provide a twist in the title race with Lewis Hamilton leading Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg by just three points with five races remaining.

It's less exciting actually than you would think. A little bit of rain makes things exciting. But a lot of rain creates safety issues and delays. If the rain is too heavy, they red flag it due to standing water.

lol Laudas interview with Sky after qualifying was hilarious

when asked if Merc was interested in Alonso he straight up said "No!"

and then he explained how Vettel broke the news to Horner. saying Vettel just walked up to Horner in the garage the night before and said "i'm leaving" and that was that. :lol
Lauda said he asked Horner if he was shocked by how Vettel broke the news to him considering their history together and Horner told him "no, that's how Vettel has always been"

Bianchi unconscious. sent to hospital on road since conditions are too bad for heli, Sutil said he crashed sideways into tractor/his car

Bianchi's in ICU and breathing on his own he had hemorrhaging in his brain

as for the crash here's a picture of it where you can see how bad it is, Jules is still in the car in this photo
supposedly there's damage to his helmet too but you can't make it out from this pic
