Let's be honest, if Toyota gave the gt86 a bit more power we wouldn't even need a Supra. |
And R&T says Toyota wants to bring the Celica or MR2 back, after the Supra is done: https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-car...-mr2-proposed/ But it'll yet again be another badge-sharing exercise with someone else. I wonder who'd be their target partner? |

None of them have anything similar to those that I can think of off the top of my head. |
If Toyota wants to bring the Celica back as an AWD, Subie would once again be a natural choice for the partnership. Base it off a future gen WRX, make it a bit shorter, and we can once again get back into a 2 door, 2+2 coupe type of vehicle. A win-win for both Toyota and Subie. For a shared MR platform, it would be awesome if Honda can somehow be persuaded into collaborating with Toyota. But given Honda's corporate behaviour and preferences, I really don't see them wanting to partner with anyone, and least of all with Toyota. |
Don’t Honda, Nissan, and Toyota all pretty much hate each other? |

Of course, I am not aware of any Nissans running any form of Toyota's hybrid gear, but the deal is there. |
shorter wheelbase than 86? :fulloffuck: https://www.supramkv.com/data/featur...jpg?1537374133 Quote:
Spoiler! |
I honestly don't know why Honda rebadged the Isuzu Rodeo back then. Wasn't the Rodeo just kind of hum ho? |
Probably wanted to crack the SUV market since the CR-V wasn't ready yet. |
side profile of the window looks pretty much like the brz/gt86 just with abit flatter roof line. I predict this will be a disappointment with probably an outrageous price tag because of having the name supra in it. |

some more pics that have just been posted: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/is-...ta-supra.1429/ https://www.supramkv.com/attachments...ont-png.10244/ https://www.supramkv.com/attachments...ear-png.10245/ https://www.supramkv.com/attachments...ide-png.10246/ seems legit? |
Looks awesome, between transmission choices (or lack thereof?) and guaranteed sky-high price I find I don’t give a fuck though |
pretty, but still a fucking BMW with an automatic built for Alfas/Jeeps :heckno: Z4 reviews are out, you can probably extrapolate the info better than the pre-production videos for ~$75k with German reliability, I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want a Cayman/M2 instead. |

toyota deleted the twitter posting so here it is on youtube: |
they've really lived up to the Supra nameplate when it comes to exterior design interior though, why a keypad? is this 1988?! just realized it's no longer 2+2...hence the shorter wheelbase than a 86 |
the keypad is for selecting radio stations. lifted from bmw (and a lot of other switchgear from what i can see, at least compared to my m3) |
The center console area looks like a shitty BMW |

the asymmetric 2-tone upholestry from the z4 looks great though |
