Bricked my phone within the first few days and then got scared to play around with it after I fixed it. But so far, 0 problems ever since.

Its not that bad.. Ive flashed my phone dozens of time trying out new roms everyday or every other day... I dont think Ive ever use stock rom for more then 2 days on any of my phones Ive owned...

Glad to see the battery life is as good as the reviews say... I am picking mine up tmrw off a fellow on Craigslist, coming from an iPhone 5S I'm used to having to carry a charger with me at all times and/or having my phone die on me halfway during the day. Can't stand it lol

Pretty consistent battery life.
However recently I'm noticing lag while using the phone. definitely not as snappy as before.
The touch screen unresponsiveness and other minor issues can be fixed from firmware side alone. Just still waiting for OnePlus to release their own OS.
So sick of CM11S. OnePlus can do well without them.

Gululu has some super phone cause I don't get near that battery life anymore. Running stock everything? Whats your phone build date(on the box it came in, not the one in settings)?

FerrariEnzo 12-19-2014 07:11 PM

Looks like Gululu doesnt really use apps much on his phone... surf web, check email,etc... like very minimal... its mostly just leaving screen on a lot of time..

BTW, Gululu, dont keep running your battery down that low all the time... the newer type battery runs better and last longer having it constant charges... just a tip...

stock, running cm 11.0-xnph44s (ktu84q). brightness on auto.

build date on the box says 2014.11.17
build date means nothing. mine is considered a newer build and it is still plagued with annoying issues.

:suspicious:
how is it mint if you broke it?

SoNaRWaVe 12-20-2014 01:07 AM

i think bigzz has a brand new s4 to trade for a mint oneplus.

If a phone can last 9-10 hrs a day with "regular" use like messaging, surfing, emailing, etc., that's very practical. Most people don't go out for longer periods than that in a single day on avg. And that's assuming you can't make "pit stop" charges in your car or at work and such.

Obviously if you're playing games the whole time or just streaming YouTube videos, that's going to burn your batteries a lot faster. But phones weren't meant to be portable TV's or handheld consoles.

Anyone on XNPH44S, the latest update?

Just updated last night, phone is much snappier now, but battery life is dreadful.

Snappier, less buggy. I did experience a random shutdown last night, first one in a long time. Had to hold the power button for a good 5-10 seconds for it to turn on.

Battery still gets me through a day with approx. 5 hour screen time. But still no where as good as Gululu.

I'm on it currently.

Haven't noticed any big differences. My battery life has stayed the same.

Then again, I don't go crazy with my phone and use up all the battery life within a day.

Neither do I, but the phone drains faster even when it's idle. Is your rooted or stock?

inv4zn 12-22-2014 12:48 PM

Wasn't 44S out for like a month now?

Yup, build date was like early november, so it rolled out shortly after.

FerrariEnzo 12-22-2014 01:32 PM

Im running beta builds of Lollipop... feels great and not too buggy... no random reboots or anything...

Nope, my phone is pure stock.

willystyle 12-22-2014 04:51 PM

How long will CM be supporting the OPO? Will there be an official release of Lollipop on OPO?

Gululu 12-22-2014 06:11 PM

i like ColorOS or MIUI. Thinking of flashing MIUI rom on my OnePlus :)

i dislike Cyanogen. i find it too bland, lack of features, and doesn't fully utilize the OnePlus.
Either give me stock AOSP rom or a customized rom by the company who designed the phones themselves. I dont need cyanogenmod really.
I say bland because it looks literally like stock android, however in reality they just made it more complicated and messier than stock.
Lack of specific features for a phone the size of 5.5", such as one-handed use mode, that are found on other roms such as Color OS or Miui.
Doesn't utilize the OnePlus hardware efficiently. probably due to poor coding, they may once be glorious in the early days of android, nowadays there are so many teams that make better roms than they ever will.
it just doesnt feel "complete" when using CM on a OnePlus, it feels like there is no ecosystem on the phone. very user unfriendly.

Thinking of getting my back cover replaced with the bamboo one, so I dont have to look at their company name everytime I pick up my phone.

zilley 12-22-2014 06:17 PM

could someone chime in on this, I have rocket player and some reason the app keeps opening and it plays music itself.. many times at work my phone would start playing music. lol.

and also my torch turns on quite often too.
