I'm surprised the invites above were used without a thanks.

Either way, thanked both of you!

My OPO is rooted and running stock rom. If I install the latest update, will it mess up my unlocked bootloader and root?

RR33 02-11-2015 08:58 PM

am i the only one who have not received this OTA update?

Just keep waiting; it will finally reach your device after a week and half or so. CM is incompetent. Their rom sucks anyway.

Now this is looking much better already

I only just got the notice for the update this morning btw.

rexsomnii 02-12-2015 02:56 PM

I got it yesterday. No noticeable difference.

AzNightmare 02-12-2015 08:51 PM

Just got my update notice right now

inv4zn 02-12-2015 09:04 PM

Had to re-root after the update, but one thing I've noticed is I have far less "ghost touch" issues.

Before, typing fast was near impossible on a keyboard with swype enabled because it would register swipes instead of individual types. Has not happened once so far with the update.

Ikkaku 02-12-2015 10:30 PM

any issues with increased battery drain?

AzNightmare 02-13-2015 12:38 AM

I updated but not sure what changed.

This app called AudioFX got installed. But I found it useless.

I've had AudioFX installed since I got the phone. Running stock rom/unrooted ever since too.

Apparently, OnePlus hired a bunch of guys from the ParanoidAndroid team to work on their OxygenOS... that would be interesting... cant wait to try it out

inv4zn 02-13-2015 09:47 AM

^release date for OOS is march apparently, according to reddit.

No betas/leaks until release date.

Nobody?

TOS'd 02-13-2015 01:20 PM

You'll have to re-root, but I cannot comment on the other because I haven't done that on my phone.

gars 02-13-2015 01:48 PM

bootloader won't be affected. I installed the update through my custom recovery TWRP - and after the update, it TWRP asked if I wanted to reroot my phone. Easy as pie.

I had to download a tweaked version of the update though, the OTA one kept on throwing errors and stopping.

inv4zn 02-13-2015 02:31 PM

I was rooted/bootloader unlocked - did it OTA (no manual flashing), and everything went good.

Just re-flash SuperSU in TWRP (or whatever you have) and it should be ok.

On the chance that you do encounter errors OTA, download the treaked rom as ^ said and flash manually.

AzNightmare 02-13-2015 08:24 PM

I noticed my whatsapp doesn't show any contact names anymore. Everyone's just listed by phone number. I Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Not sure if this is related to the new update, but I didn't install anything else within the past while. Anyone else experiencing this?

edit:
At first my contact list was ok. But then after a while, my entire contact list got wiped. Strange...
luckily I had my contact list saved in various forms (*.vcf, google, SIM, etc). Once I restored my contacts, Whatsapp is working properly again.

Phone crashed and rebooted this morning: froze, was unresponsive, then crashed and rebooted. Happened last week as well. Never happened before. Any ideas what could be happening? RAM overload or something?

Got the phone in November.

TOS'd 02-14-2015 12:05 PM

try updating to latest?
