Price looks fine to me. The 08's were less desirable due to the "weaker" clutch/ flywheel whatever, in the manual transmission along with the older infotainment. I'd rock a convert M3 in the lower mainland, just an 09+. If anything, some people still want top dollar for 'The last of the V8' M3. You are a sucker if you pay anything more than $40k for one, I don't care what condition, mileage or fancy frozen colour it is in. IMHO of course.

I had 2011 vert, to be frank, it is a different car than the e90 or e92. The car was a complete pig. +500lbs with no torque is not a good combo. The thing really handled like shit. Also the body flex was horrendous. My car was a full dinan s3r conversion and I would taken an oem m3 Comp over it. Sorry e93 m3s were a joke from a performance standpoint

Anybody check this one out? Would be a decent deal if no decs and all vin stickers in place

How was the reliability of the powered hardtop on these ?

OEM is webasto who's been around for like 100 years

they make power tops from daihatsu to ferraris

i've no concerns about reliability...they last longer than a rag top in the miata

thats great! i was worried those bmw roofs would cost a fortune in repairs. My old sc430 had a bulletproof top that never skipped a beat but ive heard some stories about leaky tops from other hardtop owners of Volvos, miata, etc.

This CRX ad came back.
My friend and I were actually on our way there to see the car last weekend. Half way received a text saying it was sold. Now its back again, $500 more.

Pretty sure someone went there and checked out the car that day.

Anyone can comment on this car? I bet the pics are a lie...

donjalapeno 06-27-2019 02:01 PM

worth every penny imo..

It’s hard to tell, but just noticing it doesn’t have a plate... and the red car in the back doesn’t seem to have a BC plate. Hard to tell. Maybe try actually calling and speaking with the guy.

2005 BMW 330CI - 6 Speed - $12900

Maybe not quite into good deal territory, but this looks to be a super clean example of a 330 ZHP coupe with reasonable mileage. As far as a fun daily driver goes - this is right up there in my books, great steering, fantastic short shifter, nice exhaust note, it's all there.

^ I can smell that interior from here. Only those who know will know. :megusta::sweetjesus:

I think that is the lowest KM ZHP posted here in a while. If it was $2500 less it'd be a pretty good buy.

westopher 06-27-2019 04:36 PM

Its expensive, but so is fucking everything else. Not going to find much more fun than that for 12k

tofu1413 06-27-2019 05:15 PM

ZHP such a handsome car.

Imola red too!

snowfarmer 06-27-2019 05:19 PM

I saw that a while back, I have a CL saved search for 330ci’s. It’s a nice example but not quite in great deal territory. There was a time when there were people who didn’t know what they had were selling their ZAM 330ci’s on CL at regular 3 series prices. As far as the seller was concerned, it was “just their older BMW 3 series” that it was time to get rid of because maintenance was coming due. Now everyone selling a ZAM (or ZHP if it’s a US car) comes from the school of “I know what I have!!!!!”

One of these days a deal on one will pop up on CL and I’ll be in there quick.

asma123 06-27-2019 06:52 PM

I had the same exact car. Deff a nice car but imo price a little too high

punkwax 06-27-2019 07:20 PM

Everything is seemingly too expensive out here in BC nowadays. I don’t have many regrets in life but two have been car related.. I had a chance to grab a super clean, one owner 92 NSX for ~35k about just over a decade ago. 2nd kid was on the way and thought I’d wait a bit as they’d surely only become more affordable later on in life.

Well shit.. long story short if you have a chance to get something you really want just do it because not everything goes as planned.

What you want is an $8500 128i with $3500 spent on it. Way more car than the ZHP ever was (except for the very nice instrument cluster needles haha)

I miss my 330ci, the shifter was buttery. Too bad it burned a crap load of oil

I'm in a situation like that now, and I know there is a very good chance that I'll end up regretting it down the line. But when it is happening, I just can't bring myself to do it... Once you have a family that you are responsible for, you just can't do stuff that has a chance of putting them into jeopardy. FailFish

Don’t want to bore people with technical nonsense but the reality is the chassis is SO much better and the engine is also better, not to mention the car is lighter! Not sure what else you would want out of a BMW track car haha.
