Also: The ad is gone so obviously someone wanted it :derp:

Or maybe they scrapped it.

That's the the era I was wrenching for a living, I've seen my fair share. I'm just not a fan.

The good buys are out there still, but they're gone in between the time someone spots it and makes a post of here..

Ads posted here are ones RS members don't want ('sloppy seconds' :lol ) I mean seriously, if you were interested in a car, last thing you want to do is post it here. I wouldn't.

SkunkWorks 01-29-2022 06:54 PM

Guilty as charged. I didn't post my manual E46 rwd wagon till after I handed over the cash :lol

Haha, that's great. Love the Toyota 3 spoke steering wheel of that era.

Used to own a 2005 XRS from 2005 to 2015.

Really fun car, but you had to really rev it up everywhere you went and shift it quickly. Shift around 4k RPM to keep up with traffic. I remember following my GF to some event and she was driving her truck with a V8. I kept having to keep it at like 4500+ RPM just to keep up!

But it was tons of fun. Coming from a GTI with a VR6, that car was hard to learn to drive stick on since you needed so much clutch slippage to get it going smoothly but I eventually got really good at it.

Revved really freely, rev matching was fun, and it was just a joy to own. I miss it.

For about 1500 dollars more than the Corolla S, you got a 2ZZ-GE, rear disc brake upgrade, upgraded gauges, 6-speed manual, bigger wheels and better tires (summer Michelin tires), lowered 0.5", suspension mods, and more. Cable throttle!

Fucking Toyota puts different engine and trans and suspension and strut brace and lowered it and upgraded the rear brakes and the door sills said "XRS" on them...and then put "Corolla S" floormats in it! LOL

If the tire pressure monitor is still on, there's a way to Google how to turn it off, there's a certain button sequence or duration to reset it properly but I can't remember it now. But it should go off.

Thanks. Previous owner put in some Matrix 16s on there. 205/55r16 tire size when it should have been 195/55r16.

Do they use tmps sensors? Maybe that’s missing.

The wheels are stock XRS, but I'm not sure about tire size. Bigger tires all around shouldn't trip the tire sensor anyways whether if it's TPMS on wheel or ABS set.

twitchyzero 01-30-2022 07:25 PM

condition is pretty nice
there's no market for that into the teen's though i dont think?

The only people who think those are worth anything are those who own them lol

I believe they do, but I'm not too sure.
Try this

For sale is my 2008 Lexus IS-F. This is the first Lexus V8 Sports Sedan branded as an F model. A combination of luxury, performance, and reliability.

I am the second owner since 2012. The first owner leased this car from Seattle Lexus for four years since new (first owner was an older gentlemen and had only driven it for 8000 miles). This car was then purchased by myself from Seattle Lexus and therefore it is a US import. I have all the Canadian import paperwork required when I purchased it from 2012.
This is my weekend/summer car hence the low mileage. The car is always parked in a garage and is not driven during the winter. I have had 0 issues with this car. Everything is original OEM. This car has never been modified or track driven.

Mileage: 19, XXX miles (~30, 000 km)
Accidents: 1 claim under $2k due to being rear ended, cosmetic damage and only the rear bumper was replaced. Note there is a small scratch on the rear bumper.

Maintenance:
Oil Changes always done annually with Mobile 1 Synthetic
Coolant flushed and changed
Car needs nothing. Never had an issue. However, the car does need new tires and brakes are less than 50% remaining.

Options/Features:
13 Speaker Mark & Levinson branded sound system
Keyless Access
Sunroof
Navigation
AUX/Bluetooth
Backup Camera
Heated Leather Seats
Dual Climate Control
And more…

Specs:
2008
5.0L V8 416hp
8 Speed Automatic with Paddle Shifters
Color: Ultrasonic Blue Mica / Black Interior
Rear wheel drive

Asking $59 999

Serious offers and buyers only. Negotiable within reason. Not looking for trades. No test drives unless with a deposit. Car is located in Richmond.

Someone must love ISF so much to drop $60k

trollface 01-31-2022 07:41 AM

Give you $7 for the used shirt you're selling.

whitev70r 01-31-2022 07:49 AM

^^ are you sure that ISF shouldn't be in the Craigslist Fail thread? That's a lot of ask.
