Anyways, great buy. I'm surprised it took two days to find a buyer at $10k.
I think he got it for under 9500

I just saw the car. The interior is mint, driven by a 90lb lady so the leathers seats and carpets were perfect. The body has like 3 door dings.

If these 2 check out, I think they're pretty decent deals:

^ 911 definitely some kind of import, sticker on the window and super sketchy side market reflectors. Would be weary of maintenance

Lol.. as someone who had to do some cutting to install lit side markers, it pisses me off that these guys can get away with a sticker.

It could be from Europe, but if they cheap out there instead of putting OEM side markers in then, then I agree with the maintenance worry.

The 911 looks pretty poor for a low mileage indoor stored car with yellowing lenses and water streaks on the body.

for a brief window these were really really cheap out of japan. not as many deals any more.

In Japan it was considered a status symbol to have your euro cars LHD back in that era

For the price, drive it till it dies. Never know how long it can go.

Didn't post this before for risk of being called out as advertising, but since it's now a done deal, I thought I'd commemorate this RS sale here:

Adios to my dad's '09 A4 Avant and congrats to the RS member who picked this up on the cheap. Family car for 13 years, many fond memories of roadtrips in it. May it run for many kms more

Spent the entire Sunday cleaning the wheels and body and we managed to get the brake dust out. I've never owned a Euro but I might try to take it down to California in the upcoming year
