My goodness. 90K is not a small chunk of change but god is that beautiful. Anyone want to buy a good kidney for 90K? Non-alcoholic and non-smoker so I got a pretty good kidney for sale.

Finding something painted a badass colour and patina'd because it was done back in the day is cool as hell.

That 85 started life out as a hot air car so obviously it was modified. I can't tell if it's worth $22k by looking at the photos but it would depend on the build including the conversion parts nevermind the tune itself.

The last one has been on sale since at LEAST summer of last year. Car looks beat up and still needs parts. In the time it was for sale, why not replace the damn parts?? At least locate the seat or reupholster it. No one will pay $10k on a beat up hot-air GN especially when the seller doesn't reduce the price and / or fix the issues.

5k? Surely you meant T5... and 302!

punkwax 01-16-2015 08:56 PM

lol Multi failed me for the 80's comment.. you really ARE that grumpy old fart living in the past! :lol

I was there for the 80's too man... if you can look at the Bonneville and wish you could go back to the time where that ugly POS was the car of the year, well, you made need more help than initially thought. :hotbaby:

68style 01-16-2015 10:27 PM

I disagree man! Anyone worth their salt who grew up in the 80's at some point wanted a white Bonneville SSEi hahaha

You and me both. The '85 looks good if you want a modified one but I don't think it's worth $20k+ though. The low mileage minor-modded one is a tad overpriced as well. I'm thinking low 20's depending on overall condition.

That one for $25,000 with only 15k original kms was the nicest one I'd seen in a while but it must have sold a few months ago.

HNGHHH B302 in grabber... Amazing car minus the accident.

Traum 01-19-2015 08:46 AM

Playing the devil's advocate, how do we know the car in the CL ad is exactly the same one (031 WVR) as punkwax has shown?

thumper 01-19-2015 08:47 AM

seller scratched out the plate number from the original ad after he was called out.
