No idea. It's happened to a few people in this thread. It's only on my phone, and only on my data, not when on wifi.
Too many m4m posts on the go :troll:

Whats M4M?
Meat for men?
Meet for meat?
Molestation for men?
If any of the above, yes.

It probably has to do with how cell providers hand out IP's when you connect, I'm guessing it's not fixed so you can end up with an IP that someone else got banned.

This

Anytime I get that message, I put it in airplane mode for 10 seconds, then switch it off. Almost always works.

Not on CL and not local so my flame suit is on and layered thick. Didn't know where else to put it.

1997 Acura Integra Type R - 10,xxx miles. This is the unicorn piece that myself and a few other have been waiting for. I feel this saying is getting old but if the dollar was better I'd be a player for sure. Auction ends March 21. We're thinking it'll drift north of $30k.

Current bid is already more than Cdn $31k... ::okay:

underscore 03-13-2015 10:36 AM

That's neat and all, but also fucking retarded to keep it the way that guy has. I love how he mentions 18 year old tires as if that shit is a good thing.

I know right?

@underscore: Clearly this is a piece that should be in a museum and not driven. I know y'all like cars to be driven and all but some just shouldn't be for the sake of future preservation. This is easily the cleanest, lowest mileage, original '97 in North America right now. The fender boo boo is the only real strike against it and maybe the dealer installed A/C. It sounds like he did all the required maintenance although the timing belt service would be needed due to age. Looks like he's a collector in his own right based on the background cars in a few photos. As for the original tires, that would mean something to a collector as the tires are discontinued and are original equipment to this car.

underscore 03-13-2015 12:57 PM

While I somewhat agree, even museum-level cars should be dusted off and brought out to special events, otherwise they may as well be an empty shell.

trollguy 03-13-2015 01:53 PM

wow.. that was deep underscore.

white rocket 03-13-2015 01:57 PM

^^haha. I know what he's saying though and I agree. It does need to see the light of day once and a while. The risk of it getting hit but some asshole is too great to drive it IMO. Imagine seeing this car is this form and condition in 20 years? That will be a spectacle.

underscore 03-13-2015 02:17 PM

Correct me if I'm wrong but the main differences in the Type R are driving/performance related are they not? I probably wouldn't drive it on the street much, but if it's just gonna sit in some guys garage it may as well not exist, some of the rarest cars out there still get brought out to collector car events with lapping and such.

This.

Collectors bring their +$5 mil 60's Ferraris to Monterey historics and bang fenders side by side and race the shit out of them.

chill guys, it's just a Honda. lol

white rocket 03-13-2015 03:26 PM

Track days/lapping days for sure. Only because it's less likely a crash will occur. The streets are much more unpredictable.

Can swap the entire front end of that car basically onto a Dodge Rampage...

If this is the baby blue one with chrome rims, it's been for sale for over 5 years. I'm positive I've seen it for sale in the mid 20's a few years back.
