I think it depends on how you view them, but generally, yes, they are bad.
I think westopher has tracked them long enough to paint a not so great picture of them.

It's more that if you just call everything money laundering in the lower mainland you're way more likely to be right than wrong.
Remember there was a point where almost every car posted in the CL fails thread was blue star lol

They are, but the GT4 are the ones worth anything.
The Reg ST and GT are slow as dirt.

The regular cars use the same 5S-FE out of a Camry, iron block and makes 130hp.
The GT4 has some bespoke suspension bits that are extremely hard to find these days, such as the figure 8 or infinite link.

			The ad says 1.6L but the 5S-FE is a 2.2L and the 7A-FE is a 1.8L. Someone could've swapped in a 4A but I'm pretty sure that's a 7.
Either way after 300k you're looking at well under 100FWHP. It'd be fun to toss around in the winter though.

But would you? Can't drive it to work or school if it is, and it's not exactly a weekend fun car in its current state being automatic and slow af... and you can't collector plate a modified one.

They do have a kind of "period correct" qualifier... ie: on my MR2 I got all my TRD suspension (springs, strut tower bars and sway bars) included... and you can do a stainless steel exhaust replacement if no OEM is available which is how I have a Greddy PE on mine lol
I wonder if they would include B16/B18 as period correct |
