The guy's been trying to sell it since last summer so I'm surprised he's not budging on the sale price. But then again this one has half the typical miles that pop up in my AutoTrader alerts (and those are typically located in ON / QC as well), so his asking price seems reasonable against comparables.

Yeah, people who grew up on the island here sometimes have a bit of a thing about that. It goes a little beyond the need to display 'Island life!' bumper stickers sometimes. I've had a few people (in their 40's like me) walk up and ask if they know me, and if I'm from 'here'. When I say I moved over from Vancouver 4 years ago they just give me a FeelsBadMan and walk back to their pickup truck and drive off.
