I noticed car market has dropped significantly |
https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...893827680.html Best Priced 2006 Lexus SC430 - $18,900 (White Rock) https://images.craigslist.org/00000_...I_1200x900.jpg https://images.craigslist.org/00c0c_...2_1200x900.jpg oh my god, this is a smoking deal on a 2006+ mid cycle refresh SC430. SOMEBODY BUY IT ! Looks pristine |
Looks great… for a SC430 You should replace yours with this one |
Not a bad asking price considering mileage and condition, plus I loved these when they were new. +1 on Hobz picking this up. |
Sort of want, but Boomer silver. Wonder if timing belt has been done |
no pie plate wheels - best part of these cars Spoiler! |
pie wheels were only 2002-2005 aka OG sc430 before the mid cycle refresh. This is the much improved 06+ with revised suspension, better handling and new LED front and rear lightning. THis is for sure the one to get if you want an sc430, bullet proof engine v8, bulletproof transmission and the top never ever has any problems (if its never been in an accident) |
I mean, a better sloppy noodle is still a sloppy noodle. |
HOW DARE YOU SIR !!! your white m3 is stupid! |
^Why are you not pouncing on this SC? You need more drop tops in your collection. |
why? i have my in laws white 2002 with the pearl white and the tan interior (aka best color combination on this SC) whats the point of grabbing another one unless its a special edition like pebble beach or niemen marcus edition / 2009 and the ever elusive 2010 one which i think in canada only sold 10 cars. |
I miss having a Lexus V8 and this SC430 is right up my alley, sloppy noodle and all. This car will haunt me tonight :lol |
https://youtu.be/WSpp2WevcxE?si=nRpyHCc4_mZnTTsg Best Lexus ever made. better than my LC. Hard top beats soft top every time. Plus it’s a honest car, it doesn’t need to be fast or performant. It’s just purely luxury grand touring. So comfortable that I drove from san Fran back to Vancouver in 1 go. https://i.postimg.cc/q7kX49hj/IMG-8480-Original.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Jh1cM9Dg/IMG-8484-Original.jpg |
That SC's been on sale for a long time. I think $15K is more reasonable given the KM. |
for a car that is 90% ageless, the headlights kill it. same vintage merc still looks new https://www.pcarmarket.com/static/me...ny-1200x0.webp |
The same aged merc is garbage and won’t even work without dumping in 5k on ABC, 6k on coil packs, and god knows what else. Plus that roof is notorious for having issues. That’s why you don’t see a single one of them around anymore. This isn’t the r129. Mercedes already started to descend into trash ville by 2002. |
It looks cool though |
That’s unfair, as all generation SLs look great. The same can’t be said for Toyotas. Lol but I still love them. |

won't last long. he lives in my neighbourhood - have seen it many times over the years. it's pretty clean. we got them around the same time - early japan imports. great driving little cars - even w the auto. can't really beat the last M52's for reliability. most parts are shared with other models. it's not a hard car to take care of at all. same as e36's for manual swaps - there are lots of shops that would do the work if you wanted. i see that the extended leather dash has died - mine did too. i put a north american vinyl dash in mine in an afternoon. i always wondered how he got early collector plates (somehow actually proved low production) - but it's moot now that it's 25 years old anyways. somebody get it - i can't be bothered w another project |
