Checked it out.
Clean interior
Paint would be great with a mild polish.
Motor pulls pretty good. I've never driven a B series Honda, but it's quicker than I thought it would be.

Would be a great pickup for someone who's interested. I went to check it out for the fuck of it. Didn't buy since I already have 5 cars, and don't need/can't fit a 6th.

I would hold out for a manual. There was a out of province 2011 manual non-xdrive touring at parkshore BMW in December for around $30K.

Is there an issue with their Automatics? I am on the hunt for a manual but the price is right for me. If there are not any known issues with the autos.

Wow, nice find!

I rather have an automatic rather than manual if you have XDrive. There aren't that many manual XDrives around, so if you care about part availability etc. remember it will be a pretty unique transmission.

The car is quite heavy already.. it doesn't make it that much fun to drive with a manual. Also with manuals, the computers don't have as much control in situations when you really need the traction / stability, which I assume is a factor when you are considering something like this.

Maybe just personal preference but silver looks just fine. If it was like 90's era C-lai special champagne gold, thatd be :heckno:

godwin 06-13-2015 04:26 PM

I had one, colour is fine.. there is a reason why the team is called Silver Arrows you know.

The reliability especially brakes and electronics.. ugh.:heckno:

no complaints on silver.

Silver is what Championship white is to Honda: heritage racing color.

A rolling car, with failed IMS sounds possible for a 996 or an aircooled car with no motor.

I'm a shitty buyer. Lowball or nothing.
And a shitty seller. Asking price or nothing.

:accepted:
The last time I bought a car for full price, was when I was 17 and didn't know any better.

To be fair, when I sell something, it's because I actually don't need/want it in my possession anymore, and the price is cut to a point where I break even, if that. I've yet to profit from a single sale, and I'm okay with that. I've already done my part by paying it forward by passing off a good deal.

That being said. I'm honest when I say I'm a scummy buyer. I will haggle and waste all of your time.

Trust me, I've seen worse. I'll make a comment about brakes/tires needing work to gauge the seller on the lowball +/- 1-200. But I've dealt with guys who would call Lordco on the spot to get a quote, and tell me how much he wants off the price off of a car. Like one guy who wanted $3k off of a $5000 car. That's scummy. Kill yourself.

8/10 times, I don't need what you are selling. I see no point in paying full price on something I felt like throwing money at.
1/10 times, I actually need it, I'll pay full price.
1/10 times, Someone actually posts a fair price, I'll bite. But it doesn't mean I won't try to get a $20 back. Sup. cash in hand. :troll:
