He made the thread, let him post his 90s GMs

originalhypa 09-15-2017 05:59 PM

Having bought my first modern day RWD v8 recently, I can sincerely state that my G8 is a piece of shit. But it looks cool, sounds mean, and smokes more rubber than a surrey prostitute with dry genitals. So yeah, keep at it GS8. I'll happily kick lowside the out of this thread if he continues to be a little bitch with his faggy fails.

<----- this monkey ain't got no time for bitches.

TouringTeg 09-15-2017 07:35 PM

That 78 SC seems too good to be true. Crazy deal

There is a 77 SC with a V8 in Victoria. I saw it at C&C a while back. Turbo badge lol 25k

I don't get why american cars are so looked down upon on this thread, while people posting early 1990s to early 2000s japanese cars are good buys for $2000-4000 when they already have more than 250k on the odo. Let alone they are rusted to shit.

A majority of american cars are not reliable but a few are.

Some people can shit on cavaliers, alero's all day. but you can't deny the fact that they can run forever which means they are just as reliable as japanese counterparts.

A cavalier may be a piece of shit, but it's a reliable one.

You can get one for cheaper than the Japanese competition, newer model year, less km's, equally as reliable.

Traum 09-16-2017 12:11 AM

Damn... Doesn't the car look... familiar?

Wasn't the Cavalier/Sunfire at the top of Consumer Reports Top 10 Worst Buys list for basically the last decade of its life due to poor build quality, safety, resale value, and a number of other factors?

Lemon-Aid and other sources didn't exactly paint any rosier of a picture, either.

Low mileage (140k km only) supercharged Regal $2000.

westopher 09-16-2017 07:03 AM

There is a reason no one sees j body cavaliers and sunfires on the road anymore. They literally had a 100k lifespan.

TouringTeg 09-16-2017 08:10 AM

Ok GM theme page. I would drive this!
