The MSRP of the Focus RS is disgusting, never mind any mark up.

I know there are some guys here with ST's, I don't want to hurt any feels, but that is not a good looking car, it's ugly just like the GR STI hatches.

I doubt they are going to fly off shelves like some people are thinking/suggesting will happen. If you have money and you want one, you will be able to get one.

Lol! That's the worst looking $60k car I've ever seen. I'm not fan of it anyway so I'm sure that doesn't help. But fcuk, $60K? Serious? What's it supposed to be? Like $45k? Still too much. #endhate

2004 bmw 330i e46 - $5500 https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/cto/5675680247.html

- if its auto its not a "ZHP"

- probably needs waterpump/coolant system overhaul ~$500usd parts, but if it actually overheated it could have caused major damage already

- even if it wasnt overheating $5500 for a 220k kms 330i automatic isnt a good deal

It seems like a nice car, but $60k puts it in the realm of a lot of other cars, especially if you're willing to go used.

so w/regards to the transmission, what they say here is wrong?:

E46 BMW 330 ZHP For Sale Forum | 330i BMW ZHP Performance Package - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About the BMW E46 330 ZHP Performance Package Option

Quote:

Question: What transmissions were available for the BMW 330 ZHP?
Answer: The 2003 model was only available in a 6-speed (Getrag) manual transmission (GS6-37BZ, part number 23007532498). From 2004 to 2006, the ZHP was available in a 6-speed manual transmission and automatic transmission.

[EDIT] tofu confirms what you said... this is not a ZHP. at the very most, it has the Sport package, but definitely not ZHP :(

IIRC, it was on Consumer Reports Top 10 vehicles to avoid.

They're all based on the same chassis, and are the same size in the passenger compartment.

My 02' was small in the back for adult passengers. I didn't bother taking passengers in my 04' or 06'.

you can consider the e46 330i in green with ~160k for $5700 instead, that would be a better deal. seller is on revscene.

jpark 07-12-2016 06:55 PM

^agreed, that black e46 is not a bad deal, its a terrible deal

I was considering messaging you to see it but to be frank, the color option turned me off. Great deal though, good luck if you do continue to sell it.

thumper 07-13-2016 06:54 AM

forced sale, but not sure if this is worth it because of the deleted ecu tuning and $4k forcefed estimated to repair engine damage caused by a seized rocker arm...

Anyways this is my 1996 Nissan 240sx SE S14 with the silvia S15 front end conversion so its called an s14.5. it has a fully built forged internals rb26dett in it professionally swapped into it, it has 2xHKS 2530 turbos, it has forged internals CP/Eagle, ARP studs everywhere, ACL bearings and a full OEM gasket kit, Apexi / Tomei mostly everything everything else, running a tomei reytec swapped to MAP sensors so the HKS BOV is vented to atmosphere. the body is serious, it ha HKS hypermax II coils, custom moulded and made widebody front and rear, and an Origin Kit, use your head, this car has everything, and this is a REAL listing ijust need to get some money back out of it, please do not delete this i just had a daughter and i NEED to sell this car, come see it for yourself its real. this car was bought completely rust free and is still currently completely rust free, garage kept etc, no rust was fixed there just never was any. i could go on and on but just email me and ill forward you more pictures and all the details, thats easier since this was being deleted for some reason??

Now there is some bad, it currently does not run that is why the asking price is so low, this is a 25K car if it was running, but it is not. I have spent all i can getting the issue diagnosed and this is what i have for you info wise.

I got this car finished and built then break-in tuned by monkey nuts and it pulled hard and true. then i left it at my moms house. someone has disconnected the battery because i was not around and the plan was for me to leave it there over winter. this action with a reytec will drop the tune, so there was no tune on it, then in the summer the battery was replaced when i wasnt around and they tried to start it, a rocker siezed and the valve in the number two cylinder bent. I spent 2000$ getting the valve covers taken off and the cams taken out, and the engine diagnosed by ForceFed and they told me all of this info and quoted me 4000$ to fix the car as there is no permanent damage to the head or anything like that, THIS is why the price is reduced but there is still some HELL of value in this car. If your a car guy you can do it for even less, i just do not have the funds right now, my life has gone a different direction, so email me any offers or questions you may have, please do not delete my post again. when this vehicle is in great running condition ..WOW it will amaze you and it is quite the beast... corvettes, ferraris, etc are blown away at what your packin in this thing lol a real head turner for sure.

EDIT / ADDITION : Just to be clear all of the parts that are off of the vehicle at the time of the photos are in my posession and currently in the trunk, I will post a final picture showing you that so you can rest assured that the car is complete... and beyond that I have about 50 pictures and a 4 page writeup on the car i can send you if you email me, to assist you in your decision making or offers, im also not secretive if you ask my what offers ive received i will be honest with you. Thanks

jesus christ, it's a craigslist ad to sell a car
not a fucking cafe conversation with Oprah Winfrey

heleu 07-13-2016 09:11 AM

The price of 2015 STIs are dropping...

2015 Subaru STi w/sport package - $35K
2015 Subaru STI -World Rally Blue - Sport Package 14,722 KM - -$38K
2015 Subaru STi sport-tech - $33K

The lower $30Kish ones are higher mileage (for the year), but they're going for essentially the same price as the 2011-2013 models.

Or maybe people hate the new body style?

I read the same things too before I bought this car. Even brought it in for a pre-purchase inspection. To be completely honest, this car has not failed me once in the 2 years we've had it. I guess its saving grace is the fact that it was the last model year for this generation, and it has the 6 speed auto tranny, not the shitty CVT. The previous owner was a family friend, she had it since new and put the majority of the miles on it. She lives in South Surrey, works in Richmond so most of the miles on the car are on Highway 91.

Anyways, updated the listing with better pictures:
