A bit of a rare beast, 2006 Audi S4 Quattro wagon, V8 340 hp, 160K kms, $13K.
Looks good on paper, don't know much about reliability and issues.

See S4 post, automotically find timing chain photo

http://www.nogaroblue.com/cars/s4v8.jpg

Timing chain is located in the back of the engine, it will need to be pulled for servicing.

I'm selling my 2003 Porsche 911 C4S. 6 speed

Car has 109,000 Kms

Black exterior with black interior soft leather seats.

Car has been slightly lowered for that perfect stance. Car is relatively stock except for the lowering ( previous owner did it), updated shifter knob and metal Porsche pedals. As well I'm not sure what exhaust is on it but it can't be stock, it sounds magnificent!

Have had a few questions regarding the car so I will add info here

Car is originally a US car. Imported into Canada 2005. I'm the third owner. 2 ICBC claims. one for $2k and one for $3k. All minor.

Car has a very thorough maintenance record. I can supply you with the binder of receipts for the history of the car. This car has been very well maintained with full invoices. Car has had two full inspection reports done. One at import and one in 2011 by Weissach

Has both keys and manuals.

IMS, RMS and clutch and flywheel done. Water pump done.
Seller lowered the price, now it seems to be a good deal if everything checks out with IMS RMS and clutch/flywheel all the big ticket items are done.

Oh yah, forgot about that chain thing on this engine!

IMS / clutch job is around 3-5k depending on who does it.

isnt exactly a deal breaker, but a could be negotiated in price if its not done! (even better if you know you get it done yourself)

snowfarmer 05-24-2017 03:17 PM

According to the ad, IMS/RMS/clutch/water pump are all done.

2009 WRX - $14,000. Reasonably priced, non-widebody style but its a hatch!
Edit:Looks like they dropped it to $12,000.

2006 A3 - $6400. Bring it down a bit and its a good buy. Not-loaded as the ad claims though. Missing HID's and S-line kit.
Edit: Its been sold.

Clean interior for the most part, legit low mile car, drives like new.

Local no accident car, one owner.

Buuuut, it has rust on both front fenders, lots of the bolting on the front end of the car as well. Nasty ding on passenger fender, paint scuffs and marks on rear bumper, front bumper is chewed up from bumping curbs or a steep driveway, and on and on. Both the quarters and doors have the odd rock chip which is also starting to rust.

Shame.

^^wow summer really brings out all the s2000's in full force from your craigslist link. But LOL at the prices fluctuating between ridiculously beaten to shit ones to garage queens

westopher 05-25-2017 06:26 PM

Lol @ the ad. Immaculate condition. Fuck right off.

flagella 05-25-2017 06:51 PM

The seller is immaculately conditioned to lie.

westopher 05-25-2017 07:17 PM

I can't think of a worse time in my life I have seen to buy a car. Everyone is asking for top dollar for absolute fucking garbage. It's making me insane. Every asshole thinks his 1 of 70000 1980s/90s/2000s shitbox with 200k is a fucking museum piece. Not to mention anything new that's remotely exciting starts at 45k.

You're telling me. Look at the ae86/240/drift market. It's absolutely ridiculous.

jasonturbo 05-25-2017 08:01 PM

That immaculate S2k is at Carter GM on the north shore.

Yes used car market is fucked, makes me feel better about the 70k RS3 I have coming lol

Yeah that 70k could buy you a 79 911 with holes in the floorboards, a maaco colour change and in need of an engine rebuild.

TouringTeg 05-25-2017 08:25 PM

I think the high price of new sports cars has helped drive up the price of old sports cars. All us peasants are fighting over semi affordable 90s/00s cars.

Look at the price of a new NSX and suddenly a 91 with 200km for $46,500 looks like a decent deal. https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/bnc/cto/6139233486.html

Why hasn't this one sold?

westopher 05-25-2017 08:30 PM

Definitely. When we look at prices of cars/inflation, look at how cheap an e92 m3 seems to an f82 when brand new. I'm sure the american economy should be exploding any day now, and the next 2-3 years things will go back to making sense. Hopefully none of us peasants get taken down as collateral damage.

Older sti prices are crazy for sure, but i highly doubt they're selling for those prices, or even sold at all. When a 2010 sti is like 34k,im sure most people would rather pay a few grand more and pick up a 2016 since

Yes, its absolutely ridiculous that people are asking close to new for their years old STI's now. Don't get me wrong, I'm a subie-fan and all but I'm not paying close to or in some cases above dealer pricing because you made a "few investment mods" into your car. :rukidding:
