I understand what you're saying, but i think in this situation everything happened too fast. I imagine its pretty hard to handle 230lbs of dead weight with only one arm thats fully extended. All that weight just falls like a tonne of bricks once hes out cold.

When you're throwing down like that, you're pretty off balance. I don't think it was Pedan's intention to just drop Tinordi like that. Both were off balance and Pedan didn't want to lose his balance by hanging onto Tinordi.

I'm not sure how you can reasonably expect two guys that are fighting to make sure neither gets injured when in reality that is the very reason why they are fighting.

Reminds me of the NFL pro bowl uniforms, which are subsequently influenced by college uniforms (so I'm told)

IMO they look great in pictures, but looked horrible on the field. I assume these will be even worse with the white ice.

You're right. It happens quick and decisions can't be made but still, I think especially amongst the enforcers there's a code. I know it seems counter-intuitive to want to look out for a guy that you're trying to punch in the face but I like good, clean fights.


I love shit like this...drop the helmets, let's have a fair fight. Iggy knocks Willie good after a spirited bout but hangs on. I'm sure it's on all their minds when they fight. No one wants to see someone seriously injured unless your name is Chris Simon.

Sure he hung on but he also gave in two other punches! Let's not pretend that he hung on there to keep Mitchell from injuring himself. He held on in the heat of the moment.
