when does season 2 start then?

white rocket 03-26-2015 08:08 AM

IMDB says 12 more episodes are slated for 2015 but are calling it season 2. Not sure if accurate.

I'm just here to say:

this show sucks.

I couldn't get into it, as much as I wanted to. :okay:

have you watched every episode? It's a show that makes you think like Breaking Bad and that's what I like about it.

Well, clearly the problem is you and not the show. :)

The overall consensus is that the show is crazy good.

Did you even watch Breaking Bad before this series?

If you haven't/didn't enjoy Breaking Bad this show probably isn't for you :lol

it was subtle and not a big deal, but the way everyone walked out of the room and closed the door and then you couldn't hear them speaking but the camera didnt move looking thru the glass window. that was neat.

you have to remember even breaking bad was 75% slow burn but when shit goes down it just hits and ground running and swirls violently out of control...it really does pay off and then some.

even in the slow parts you can appreciate the little things; slipping jimmy conning in the street with the gold watch, mike going to the vet, etc etc

what I like about the show is it's like an extended GTA live action cutscene...you get the shady vet, the seedy senior home, happy go lucky family front that takes their money bag camping; ok, the guy with the creepy toilet was just straight up weird.

the only part of the plot that I don't give 2 shits about his chuck's mental condition and I feel it adds little to the overall show...chuck's eventual comeback? will be the downfall of jimmy and I just get the feeling it's a bit cheap

This is what the 10th episode (season finale says)

Looks like its playing more into Chucks now

I personally really like Better Call Saul, and think it's a great addition to the Breaking Bad story. If anything, I feel like after the whole BCS series ends (whenever that may be) I'm super inclined to watch Breaking Bad all over again just to see how everything and everyone connects back into the story.

PS. I thought Mike's episode was SO good. I teared so bad when he started crying over Matt.

Why do I envision this series ending with Jimmy getting a visit from one Walter White...and fade to black?

murd0c 03-27-2015 07:24 AM

I can picture that as well, when ever this series ends(better be in years) I'm going to re-watch all of breaking bad.

white rocket 03-27-2015 10:02 AM

Should get a solid 4-5 seasons of this show. I can already see some awesome tie-ins and guest appearances from BB. It's endless really. No one knows anything from before BB so maybe Hank Schrader has a run in as a cop with Saul representing a client.

This show is about the little things. The way it's filmed and edited is absolutely top notch.

I loved and watched BB religiously.

Only watched the first three episodes of BCS though, if that matters.

Watch the rest and you will get hooked...

But why do you say you don't even like it when you haven't watched the show fully???

Truenosan 03-27-2015 01:45 PM

I just finished re-watching Breaking Bad because of this show. I like how Saul even says in the original his name wasn't Saul, it's McGill. And how he mentions to Walt that the will end up in at a Cinnabon in Omaha.

Dont think you need to watch more than 3 episodes of something to figure out if you don't like it.

What # of episodes would someone need to watch to figure that out? I just started watching BB. Do I need to watch 3 seasons before I realize I dont like it? Just saying.

ZN6 03-27-2015 02:43 PM

I think they will definitely look into the very future and further when Saul does ultimately become the manager of the cinnabon. The thing I learned about Vince is that every part of the show has a purpose, almost every detail is accounted for.

They would not have shown a pretty depressed Saul watching reruns of his old TV commercials in the pilot if they didn't want a piece for the audience to think about and put it into the bigger picture. I'm digging this show so far.

its taken me 8 episodes to get into a show but and by the time I knew it I really enjoyed it.
